A 24% increase since I last charged there 2 1/2 weeks ago feels like it’s more than just PG&E rates in play here.. I’m seeing many 8-9 cent price increases at chargers I’ve frequented. I do agree things will get worse

Have noticed some big price increases over past couple weeks. San Ardo, CA went from 37 cents per kWh to 46 cents per kWh. With new car demand lagging, supercharger network seems to be the lever Tesla is pulling to increase revenue at least in the short term.

A business posted that PG&E will shut off power to the shopping center March 3rd, 8am to 11:45 PM to power the supercharger. Still no transformer on site as of today.

Nice to see pricing has come down quite a bit here compared to what it was previously. Definitely one of the better options for those without home charging.

Not going to happen unfortunately. If they offered it for people who took delivery in the past 3 days, people who took delivery 4 days ago would wonder why they don’t get it too. With Tesla, the price you see and sign for is the price you pay.

That’s my assumption. I wonder if they had issues getting power to the previous downtown site. Previous Central Avenue location was City of Lompoc electric, this new one is PG&E.

The port on my Model 3 has burned two cables. Both apple brand original cables, not third party. I’m taking it into service next week.

This supercharger has been removed from the Tesla map at tesla.com/findus. Canceled? Bummer, would have been nice to have a convenient charging location for the big Vandenberg SpaceX launches especially.

I doubt that’s it. I don’t think Tesla (or anyone building high volume, large battery capacity EVs) can meet the American/Free Trade Agreement with USA material sourcing requirements so quickly in order to qualify for tax credit. Would love to be wrong here.

I financed through Tesla (US bank) I accidentally made two payments before my first due date (one auto pay, one that I initiated myself) My amount on my second statement / due date ended up being $0.

I feel like I lucked out with my timing. Ordered in march before any of the price increases and got it last month. +$7000 since. Crazy thing is people are still willing to pay the new prices… it’s a great car.

Unless your mom is super into performance cars, I would buy her an unmodified 3 or Y. Not sure you’ll be able to change the look of the car with a simple exterior mod, and the car already sounds flashy from your description.

Before I got my Model 3, I was expecting I would hate the pedestrian warning system and would want to remove it. In actuality, I like it a lot. It’s not annoying to me at all, sounds pretty cool I’m reserve,and I appreciate that it increases the level of safety for pedestrians around me.

Am curious as to whether our resident battery tech experts have any thoughts on any of the points made in the above. Thought the claim Panasonic pack degrades more quickly, at least initially, compared to LG, was interesting.
