That mall could definitely use a Supercharger. They have an Electrify America charger system there, and a Supercharger would be helpful. Lots of Tesla's in the area, and right next to the I-10 and I-15.

Cost. Some locations demand more money because they're the anchor that pulls people to the SC. Other locations believe the Supercharger will draw in more customers, and cut them a deal.

Really great location, lots of good food and shopping options in this parking lot. It's not an unreasonable walk to the OG Panda Inn (the restaurant that started the other Panda Inn's and Panda Express).

Absolutely I get that. The parking lot I'm indicating would probably be cheaper to rent, and have a lot more space for a larger charging location, but the nearby business support in the form of a mall or something similar probably isn't there. Still happy to have more charging options!

CNC is a great option, since it's becoming their new service center location, but I think they'd want it closer to the nearby conveniences south of the 210. The parking lots on the north side of Campus or south side would be perfect: LOTS of food options, lots of shopping nearby, LOTS of parking...

Cool great thanks now PLEASE DO MORE SUPERCHARGERS ALONG THE 210 jesus. The Azusa location will help, but it's still a significant stretch between Pasadena and North Fontana/Rancho Cucamongo that's desperately in need of more Supercharging stops near the freeway.

I got in touch with someone I've been dealing with at Tesla, they got me a delivery appointment Sunday. Hopefully it sticks!

I've seen it for a couple days now, probably since before last weekend.

Reading through here, I'm starting to get frustrated. I ordered on June 9, still no delivery date, still no VIN on my account (it's in the page source, but not visible), and no contact from Tesla. Other people who ordered a week ago are getting their deliveries scheduled? I'm in SoCal.

Anyone able to contact the service department at this location? They called me with questions about an upcoming service appointment, but it went to voicemail. I've tried calling them back for the last 3 days, and always goes to mailbox (which is full).

I tried that, even the sales people aren't able to reach delivery. Try it yourself!

Anyone able to reach Tesla Deliveries right now? I've called a few times today, and it always says they're closed. Then the voice prompt says they have office hours today from 8A to 5P PST (I called around 10A and 2:30P). Something going on with deliveries department?

The absence of any chargers along the 10 or 60 heading west after Riverside or San Bernardino is really problematic. I was surprised it took them as long to announce chargers in Pasadena, and even still, the 10 is neglected despite being one of the major east-west Interstates .

They re-wrapped the chargers with black garbage bags after all the wind events a few weeks ago shredded the bags before. I drive by the site almost every day, so I look over to see if a transformer is placed yet. So far, no transformer, but EVI has finished all their construction work on the...

Dog Haus Biergarten isn't a bad spot either. The beer selection there is generally on point. I'm stoked to see this new location permitted. The entire 210 corridor from Glendale to Rancho Cucamonga is noticeably lacking Superchargers, so this will be a great addition for the commute. If only...

I don't see any other hardware, but there's a crane with a concrete slab. I think they're prepping to place this slab for wjatever electrical equipment they still need to deliver? Anyway, photo taken within the last hour.

Another update: the asphalt guys were out there all day, closing up the trenches and finishing the parking lot. I'm guessing that means the trench work is completed, and now the ball is back in SCE's court. Yay progress!

I stopped by yesterday to check out the construction for myself. The fenced off area near Target also has signage by "EVI" so looks like Steve was on target (pun intended) with his comments. No construction seems to have started, but the green fences are up. I'm assuming they'll start tearing...

Just to play Devil's Advocate here, we get some pretty gnarly wind events. I've seen tumbleweeds the size of Buicks in the parking lot, so I'm not convinced it was an act of vandalism. Over the last few wind events, I've seen the black plastic bags shredded and ripped off all of the chargers, so...

Still no power as of today, but 2 of the stalls were damaged (front panel removed, exposing the hardware).

Weekly update: nothing to report. Drove by a couple times this week, no more progress, nothing changed at the site. The paving and parking lines being repainted is reassuring, and now officially being in Q4, I am hoping we all see a quick resolution to this long wait.

The "planned locations" were always just automatically placed in the city names, they were never based in real data other than "oh, Pasadena will get one". Supercharge.info has way better information. I'm still just bummed, I need that Fontana charger to help with my work commute.
