Nio's ET7 model uses 8 mega pixel cameras compared to the Tesla's 1 mega pixel.

I just stopped by the east 5th street location. I was the only one there. Only 4 miles away from the other SC locations on Michaelson and FV. Sure beats waiting at those locations.

How come no one uses the East 5th St. Santa Ana supercharger location? Fountain Valley SC, Michaelson SC, and the Walnut SC arealways packed but the Santa Ana one is rarely full.

As I mentioned previously, your suggestion of paying the car with cash in full completely ignores the concept of time value of money. Paying 100k in cash for a car today is not the same as paying 100k in 5 to 7 years from now (typical loan term for auto loans) after accounting for inflation...

Tesla offered financing through Chase back in 2017. My rate is 0.99%. This is the only instance where I wish I could borrow more than the car is worth. Like 100 million more.

Let's not also forget the concept of time value of money. If you can get a 50k or 75k car loan at 0.99% I'd take that loan all day every day without hesitation even if I could purchase the car in cash. Anytime you can borrow money less than the rate of inflation or under a typical CD rate...

Range offers more information without having to do any math in your head. Anyone capable of eyeballing can gauge what the approximate percentage is just by looking at the green battery indicator.

My experience so far with the MX 20s has been a positive one. Similar ride comfort, range, to the 19s but the 20s just appear to fit so much better.

I went with 245/40 and 275/35.

These are still available. Price reduced to 1200 obo.

The strength of charge was at 11% when I plugged it in. I'll test the supercharger again on my way back home and will contact tesla if necessary.

At the inyokern charger now. One Supercharger appears to be broken...nothing happens when I plug in the MS....the other 3 cap out at 64kW 254 miles/hr. Off to Lone Pine...hopefully faster speeds.

Another possible option, you can up size to 20" Slipstreams from a MX. It's a nice compromise if you want a larger more aggressive wheel and maintain the OEM appearance and ride quality. Best of all, the wheels are affordable and you have plenty of tires to choose from in 20". IMO the offset...

Mike-415, thank you for posting this informative thread! For the same reasons as you, I opted for the 20"s from a MX. It's a decent compromise between the style of the 21"s and the practicality of the 19"s while maintaining the OEM appearance.

No TPMS. I swapped it to the 20"s

Selling like new 19" Slipstream Rims with Goodyear rubber. This set is off of 2017 MS with less than 350 miles. I recently upsized to 20" Slipstreams off of a MX and don't need two set of wheels. Asking price is $1,350 Located in OC/LA; local pick up only.
