I struggled with this, too, early on. You have to HOLD the button down for a couple of seconds to release the lock pin.

It's been a bitter winter here in Minnesota and I've found the battery (75D) performance surprisingly bad. My commute to work is 15 miles, but it took 35 miles off my battery when it was -10 degrees the other day. This makes it very hard to plan a safe trip when the mileage fluctuates so much...

I have a couple of Bluetooth devices from Amazon. One is a transmitter. They're cheap (about $20) and worth a try. Be sure they have the latest version (4?). You could run that out of your earphone jack. Awkward, but it may tide you over until you get a new phone!

First post... I got my S three days ago. I have a new, upgraded V1 and love it in my boxtster. I tried to find the hole in the rfid cage on the windscreen (mentioned on previous posts as obvious in the sunlight) and couldn't find it. Tried the V1 on the dash and it found a few random squawks...
