FWIW, I have about 20k or so miles on my car and for me it is rubbing off at the top. I don't use lotion or chemicals on it. But I did snag it once on my wedding ring which caused a blemish, I think that was the catalyst for one side going. Both sides have damage though.

I made a service request to replace mine and they told me things are on back order and if I don't hear from them in 30 days to contact them again.

yes, "legacy" model S. I have both, refresh doesn't have adjustable headrests but my 2017 does (or did!)

Is it worth doing? I considered going for it but it seems like I am ready it isn't all that great and it seems to mean you get new features later than non-beta users. Would be a lot of fun to play with, just not sure it is worth the compromises

I posted this on another thread, but I am now also getting a buzzing from the autopilot camera behind the rear view mirror. At first I thought the yoke buzz was getting much worse, but it turns out now I have 2 locations that are buzzing!

I am getting a buzzing sound out of the from camera (behind rear view mirror) that sounds almost exactly like the yoke buzz. Anyone else?

Can you do launches before the preconditioning is finished? If so, is it harmful in any way?

The latest firmware seems to have helped the sound system quite a bit. I was also streaming spotify from my phone initially, it seems streaming directly in the car is an improvement.

Seems a little crazy the blind spot camera video isn’t in the ic. Looking down at the bottom of the center screen kind of defeats the purpose of a safety feature like this. also confirmed megaphone only works in park. Bummer.

I took delivery Tuesday. They told me the key fobs were on backorder but when I got home I had 2 key fobs in the glove box. Haven't tried to set them up yet.

This is my least favorite part of the plaid. Not glass distortion or odd whirring or buzzing sounds, but the terrible AP controls combined with effectively losing the right scroll wheel.

I was offered a similar car, I wonder if it is the same one. Plaid, MSM, black interior? In any case, even with a 4k discount I decided to pass.

Update on my car. My previous post said no glass distortion, unfortunately today it is clear that isn't true. The bottom of the rear window distorts a lot. It is probably the bottom 1 inch. I am not sure what to do about it, might be worth a service request. Also, the rear passenger windows...

Software update worked the second time. ARNR is present, though it wasn't in the release notes. Will drive it today and see if I can tell a difference.

I have something similar in my 2017 S. I haven't been able to figure out exactly where it is coming from, sometimes it stops for a while, I assume because whatever is rolling around got lodged somewhere.
