Sorry, I never did the "upgrade". I looked into getting one and dropping it in, but never got around to doing it. By most reports (I know it is subjective), people who have done the swap have loved it.

It's a dual voice coil 2-Ohm speaker, so if you wire it in parallel, then you get 1 Ohm.

I don't know but there was that big long thread regarding "Chargegate" somewhere here that talked about getting the charging rate throttled. That's why I am so surprised that UCMNDD has not experienced it.

Really? I used to get at least 100kw charging but now only hit around 70 or 80 (I believe), then it quickly drops down to around 60kw.

Has anyone with an older Model S 75D, 90, etc pack been able to confirm if the supercharger throttling was lifted (update 2020.48.26)? There has been some comments on Facebook Tesla groups that the older packs have had their supercharging rate increased with this update. I am currently waiting...

Thanks. No real concern thanks to air suspension but I still am careful. I'm used to driving cars that are lowered more than mine. Mine isn't even lowered...just the stock low air setting. You just have to be careful getting too close to the parking blocks when you go in nose first.
