Has anyone been by this site lately and can provide an update?

Do we think the original chargers will stay in place and these will be additional? From the pictures, they appear to be across the parking lot from the original 6 stalls.

I can confirm that it doesn't work with the new model s. The coil is too low on the phone to hit the coil on the car which is about at the hinge area of the phone.

Current status.

This supercharger is has been disabled according to the Tesla map. I am not sure what is going on with it.

Strange, the tesla mobile app only shows 7 (says the same for the one in downtown Indy which has 8). I did see on tesla's website it saying 12 though.

I have had no problem using the superchargers at the Indy Service Center. I have used them on a couple of occasions.

Shouldn't supercharge.info include the 2 superchargers located at the service center in Castleton (Indy area)? They do not show up in the Tesla app but there are similar chargers included in the supercharge.info list (like the Cincinnati service center).

Agreed...Kokomo is arguably not even needed in comparison to southwest Indiana. This charger is a mere 37 miles from the one in Carmel, and around 93 to the one in Mishawaka, IN. I really wish I understood how the planning worked for their build out.

We have seen that a number of times. Another example is Carmel, IN supercharger. It was never in the plan that I know of.

The parking rates are some of the most expensive I have seen in Indianapolis. If anyone is parking downtown for more than just a quick charge, there are a number of destination chargers around town at much cheaper prices. I also use the BluIndy parking sports that provide $2/hour street...

Any news on an opening date?

It is interesting that this location popped up because it was not on the planned map that Tesla released earlier this year. I am not sure that they even have half of the planned locations started yet and unplanned ones like this one pop up. I suspect it is due to the lack of amenities around...

Is it live?

I have seen gas stations built faster than some of the start to finish times of superchargers. It is strange that it takes this long.

Anyone heard any updates on when this charger will open?

Stopped by today, looks basically ready to open but still has some construction equipment onsite.

How did it look yesterday?

Thank you....I am looking forward to this one opening. I do wish one was near the airport though. I drive from Indy to Knoxville quite a bit and this one is not really in route for that (but much better than Blue Ash).
