Mine expired as well, but if you think of it, the repairs out of warranty will be difficult to pass the amount... I had to replace the latch to the third row, and got a new battery from 75 to 90 under warranty. Those were the only two issues I have had out of warranty for 18 months.

Really agree on the falcon wing doors being the most reliable. Purchase a model x if it is your second car!!! never the main one.

I did check. There is a hitch cover under the bumper, but it is empty inside. Mine does not have a thing were hitch receiver is inserted in to. I guess what the tow package means by the SC is both the receiver and the hitch.
