Don't think this has been posted already: Open Energy Monitor have a type-B RCD for sale to go with their EVSE (presumably could be used with others): Type-B RCD 1P+N (Chint NL210-63-263/30) £157.50 inc VAT. Looks like it takes up 3 slots of a consumer unit.

According to one of the guys in the show room, Tesla UK had to push hard to get the cars - apparently they were all destined for European stores originally. So I don’t think that in itself is a sign of anything I’m afraid.

Mid-range RWD I think would be ideal for me. I’m not an S/X owner, just Model 3 reservation holder. So it seems the emails are sent out on a lucky dip basis.

Sadly I think right-hand drive will be the very last variant of the Model 3 to become available...but who knows. I recon theirs 10-15k reservation holders in the UK, wild guess!!

Thanks for the informative post, you make a good case for Tesla! The boot is probably my biggest (only?) concern about the model 3. I think it will most likely be big enough for what I need, but I do enjoy the convenience of a hatch - being able to chuck big stuff in easily. I'm awaiting...
