This is pretty common now, lots of people see it. You don’t necessarily have to do it immediately, I don’t think it’s a safety issue per se. The fuse is covered under the battery factory warranty. I do think Xcare covers it too if you have it.

What was the extension for insurance to call? I would recommend looking at XCare for something like this, they know the limitations of Tesla service and work around them.

No, the Used Vehicle warranty only adds a year of the factory limited warranty, not the Battery and Drive Unit. Tesla does not offer any upgrades to battery and drive unit warranty. To my knowledge, XCare is the best route for that.

They wont deny it, but they wont reimburse you to get it re-tinted. I had a air leak in one of my quarter panel glasses that was tinted, and they replaced it under warranty, but would not reimburse me to get it re-tinted.

i have used XCare many of times. my service center in IL works with them often. Pretty simple thus far, and have used them a few times in the last few years.
