See my comment #205. In my case, Tesla modified my order because it was coded incorrectly (I didn't change anything), and it reset my estimates. Bottom line: I think the estimates are crap.

The standard-range battery version was advertised as 5.6s 0-60. That's probably what you were thinking of.

They may suggest a particular repair shop, and it's often easier to use one that works more closely with the insurance company, but you're not required to use that shop. See: Auto Body Repairs and Replacement Parts

It looks like the 20" wheels plus black interior is actually the configuration that's holding things up. If I had to guess, they have one assembly line with the 20" wheels, and it has (or had) only white seats.

I was wondering the same, except you'll never get a straight answer from anyone on the phone (51-TESLA). They don't seem to know any more than what you can already see on your web page (maybe with some JavaScript inspection). Nice people, but kind of useless.
