I've been suggesting this location since we first had the chance to do that in the Supercharging voting. I go this path 4-5 times a year from on my way to Southport and this would really be nice.
I am about to replace my tires again, this round I got just under 45,000 miles on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s....not bad at all. Will likely be going with the A/S 4s. The OEM set got me to 35k.
I was driving by earlier today as well, so stopped by and saw that the yellow tape was still up. They had a guy with a level going stall to stall taking measurements and looks like the handicapped stall still needs some attention
Man. They need to hurry up. We’re going to be headed into town (Belleaire Beach) in 3 weeks. No charging available at the condo. Typically I had to go up to Clearwater to keep it at a good level for activities once or twice in the week we’re there.
Swung by here a little bit ago...not much change really from what I saw about 10 days ago. Seems the transformers are in, but the big green fence is still up all the way around the construction area...still lots of dirt being moved and much work to be done. Moving slowly ....
I am at about 295 for 100% charge...but before the pandemic, I was putting 150 miles a day on it and running it hard up and down the highways daily. Had 50k miles on her by 18 months old. It is only since the pandemic that she has been a lower milage queen. She likely needs to be calibrated...
With the Y, my wife drives about 45 miles a day round trip, which uses about 10% each way. We have been charging it to 70% nightly so it will sit at work for 10 hours at 60% and arrive back home with around 50%, then repeat.
With our 3, it doesn't go many places these days with me working from...
No. Unless you need to use HOV by yourself, or you want to use the I85 Peachpass lane (does not apply to I75), then not really. I have it on my Model 3, since that is the car that does commuting when I have to do that as that can be a HUGE savings on I85, but we did not put it on the Model Y...
Absolutely yes....I hate broadcast radio and playing anything via Bluetooth from the phone. I was lucky enough to get lifetime on our other Tesla back in 2018, so have gotten so use to using it I really had no choice on the new Y too.
My office, which I haven't been to in 3 years, is across the street from here. That's convenient if/when I ever stay down there for the night, which I would do sometimes in the past. It's a busy area..hope they put some markings on the spots that this is for EV charging only, not the "general...
On the new Y we got last month, we signed up for the annual subscription. Thankful that the 2018 Model 3 has it for free for its lifetime. NO issues at all paying for the Y, and use it on EVERY drive.
I always hated the way Spotify did "artist radio" type stations....Apple and Pandora do it similarly and works the way I like. So, once Apple Music came to the car the other day, I ditched Spotify and subbed to Apple Music. The Tesla Apple Music app has its issues, and hopefully they'll get...
It's a good thing....so you have the Park Assist info working... Not having USS is annoying at the moment, not the end of the world, just annoying to not get any close proximity info.
Same here..we've had the MyQ stuff on our doors for several years, and every now and again it will think the door is open when it is not. Kind of annoying.
After receiving the home link kit, we put in a service ticket first thing in the morning (around 0800 on 11/12/22), and were able to schedule mobile service the same day. They showed up at about 1pm.
This one is huge for us, as we travel to Belleair Beach all the time. I submitted a request to put one on this road, so VERY happy to see it. Makes the inbound route much easier for us.
And you followed this info?
Hotspots and Connectivity
You can also use a mobile hotspot or your phone's Internet connection via Wi-Fi tethering (subject to fees and restrictions of your mobile carrier) to access the internet. To remain connected to Wi-Fi when shifting into Drive or Reverse...
Stopped in here for the first time on Sunday (after Thanksgiving). It was pretty busy, but no wait, and never saw a wait while we were here. It's a welcomed stop instead of having to go to the old Greenville, SC stop that is gen 1 and always packed (and was a wait when we went by it). There...
Stopped here this past Sunday around Noon, was expecting chaos as it was the big travel day after Thanksgiving, and I got it...but not at the chargers. There were plenty of them available and never saw anyone have to wait, but it was a steady stream of cars coming in/out. The chaos was in the...
Stopped at this charger last Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) on our way from Ashville, NC to Southport, NC. Was not busy at all, there were only like 2 or 3 other cars that showed up at various times during the 20 minutes we were here. The location is welcome so I could skip Charlotte...
Although not needed all the time, there are situations where having some indicators of how close things are to you are important. I hope they can get the parking assist stuff out to us soon.
Stopped in here last night. It was 6 miles from the AirBNB we are staying at for a few days. Convenient location for us as we needed some groceries so went to While Foods while it charged up. By the time we got back to the car is was just finishing up. Wish I had a bit more time to go into the...
We took delivery last Friday (11/4), and until 11/5 I could not order the CCS adapter. But, on the 5th, it was available to my account now that the Y was on it and ordered. We received it on 11/9. My 2018 Model 3 is not compatible currently.
I ran into this issue with mine last week. I didn't have enough time to use who I wanted to due to the processing time. It was a huge difference in APR, but still was not the preferred way I wanted to do it.
My timeline was FAST once I got a VIN. I got a VIN last Monday (31st), got notified to schedule delivery later that same day and that I had 3 days to choose from, the max being Saturday (5th). I got text messages on the 1st that I had until 4pm on the 2nd to schedule delivery or my car may be...
