yes , they tend to deny warranty claims or take any responsibility . its disheartening that Tesla didn't even take responsibility to address or look into the issue i'm hard pressed to get answers from them , looks like my insurance provider and the my legal team are trying to get some answers...

I took it to the service center and they weren't sure why that would occur and mentioned that it could have been a pot hole or hitting a bump at high speed.

yeah I've been thinking about changing to 20" , because except for looks 22" aren't any good. Noisy, bumpy ride , loss of range ....

I did pass it on to Tesla , looking at it seems to be a wheel defect , because there isn't any damage or scratch to outer part of the rim. I haven't heard from Tesla

Yes they are stock 22s

I was driving at 55mph on highway and our Front wheel cracked all of sudden, and started to wobble. There was no pothole or any obstruction. Did this happen to anyone ? Thankfully this happened when no kids were around in the car.

Please let me know , how those wheels work out for you. I was thinking of switching to 20" or 21"

Are you planning on getting 22" wheels , I would recommend staying away from them if Range and comfort are your top priorities. For regular long distance travel while there is range difference for sure , the difference can be mitigated through driving style or relying on Autopilot.

I would just peel the edge and stretch it while applying that back. I had success with stretching and using the heat gun

Did you try reporting this to Tesla Service Center . They should take care of it and provide you a loaner car .

I got this message too , Tesla service is replacing one.

Looks great ! the red T's on those wheels are good touch. I messed up even after watching videos , but Nikolapro was kind enough to send me replacements. How many beers did you chug through the process :)

Cold beer(s) helps ! Here is sample kit on space gray ! Hard to tell between Matt and satin in the picture, but up close easily distinguishable!

I was on the same boat , I ordered a sample kit ($5) which comes with all finishes. It was an easy decision after I put those wraps right next to each other on door chrome, it was an easy decision to go with Satin black. you could also request custom colors. I would recommend that approach

Thank you ! Chrome emblems is a nice touch and I agree Mirrors are a pain . I screwed up the folding mirrors thing twice and just didn't bother. 22" wheels are awesome , but if I were to buy another X , I will go with 20".

Thank you. Yeah mine was sitting for over 2 months. I would say part of Mirror section and also the Letter section on the trunk lid . If I were to start Fresh , using heat-gun more often and not stretching the vinyl at all. I had to request additional pieces because I overstretched some areas...

for some complicated stuff , i used up two kits. I also requested some additional stuff that NikolaPro was kind enough to send . It took me 8 hours spread across few days.

I would actually order a sample kit , you can pick multiple colors. I was confused so I ordered sample kit with multiple colors ( I believe it was $5) and went with Matte Black.

Thank you ! Raven P100D with 20" is an awesome car, good range , improved suspension and motor dynamics, I've been itching to get a 100D Raven with 20". I've noticed significant drain at 65+ speed with 22".

At least 40 miles difference each time and the ride quality took a hit . Noise level increased too. Range hit wasn't significant on Model S though.

Hi Hector , I was at Pond Springs today , I saw several Model Y's sitting there, I spoke with the sales team there. You can visit the Pond Springs and take delivery without plates ( that means that you should be responsible if you get pulled over or for any tickets :) ) .

As previously mentioned by other members; I would seek help of a legal team. I would also seek help of local media or social media to escalate it to the bank's leadership and see if that helps.

If anyone is on same boat as me i.e. confused about which color or shade to get, please order a sample kit; that definitely helps .

In that case , the bank shouldn't be doing that merely based on purchase order , so you have a strong reason to fight it. Typically the bank can work with the destination bank to stop payment. Please check with your bank and I would also recommend , you let a member of legal team speak with the...
