    Subwoofer rattle

Nice, fingers crossed over here. They can call it whatever they want, as long as it keeps TSLA on the upward trend!

    Subwoofer rattle

I just started getting a very similar rattle in my '18 X this week. Took the trim pieces off, pushed around to try to see if something was loose, but unfortunately it seems like a blown speaker when feeling up there. Curious what the service center said about yours, and more importantly, how...

    Model X Screen Burn in

Have noticed the same thing, not great.. Going into Display and manually turning on Night mode for a bit (and adjusting brightness) in the morning seems to work for me. Though I've been trying to lock at night when I remember to avoid all together

Yellow border on instrument cluster screen - not MCU

I've noticed the same thing, especially with windows down and when the sun hits it. I had the magic pen fix for MCU last year, and haven't seen any issues since. Hopefully there's a fix for the binacle too. Let us know what your hear

    Stains on PPF

It probably would have, come to think of it. But I wasn't really happy with the film or application, especially the last year. My X is white, and on most of the edges of the film it would just collect dirt. I tried using a q-tip & isopropyl alcohol to clean, but no luck. This probably could...

    Stains on PPF

Interesting, thanks for the links. I don't know that I would have had the guts to try mineral spirits. I couldn't stand it more than a day and peeled the PPF off the hood. Will probably get it re-wrapped, but also thinking of removing the rest since it has yellowed a bit more than I'd expect...

    Stains on PPF

Anybody have a secret weapon to get mutant bird (maybe squirrel?) dropping stains out of PPF? (pics) These were on the car for 3-hours, in the shade before I noticed and cleaned off. Xpel with Ceramic Pro, about 1.5yrs ago. Have tried ONR, isopropyl (70%), clay bar and Simple Green.

    Brakes Rubbing during Reverse

Interested to hear what the solution is here. Mine does the same thing in the morning, but along with having to hit the accelerator to get it to move in the morning, there's also a pretty loud pop when they break free.

    Brief “Unable to Charge” warning

I've seen this recently too (since about 2019.40.x). It seems to only pop up when I have scheduled charging set.

Auto lock horn in my gargae

Yes you can turn off the lock confirm sound under Vehicle, but I think that's just curing the symptom of OP's issue.

    2019.40.2.1 fixes seatbelt chime

Just installed 2019.40.2.1 and I'm happy to report the annoying seatbelt chime is fixed! Chime no longer goes off when in park and belt removed.

    Winter Shock : 800kWh?

The problem with the scheduled departure option, is that it will avoid peak rate charging times, which it defines as 6am. If you don't have time of use rates, then this is annoying because it will begin charging much earlier to avoid the more expensive charge times. I hope there will be an...

    Winter Shock : 800kWh?

Below are my figures too for context. I think seeing a bunch people's data might help to get an idea of what to expect. I'm in Indy and took delivery Dec '18, so no subzero drives of more than 5 miles. That being said, I've had the 22's on since delivery, so there's an extra range hit too...

    Winter Shock : 800kWh?

Couldn't agree more, especially with the % vs mi/km. So many threads on here with people are saying, "my 90% is only __ mi...should I be concerned?".

Touchups to scratches on 22" Black Turbine wheels

To get me by until I swap to winter wheels this week, I used a regular black sharpie this summer. Matches almost perfectly, lasts quite awhile. Will be taking them to wheel repair shop to get the two spots properly fixed soon (felt I needed to justify using a $2 marker on this :).) Edit...

22 Inch Wheels/Tires- Have you bent or cracked them?

I'm approaching a year (14k miles) with my X on 22's, and haven't had any issues. I live in the Midwest and went through the normal pot holes troubles, missing most but hitting more than one quite hard. One flat tire from a nail, but no wheel problems.

I'd be interested on local recommendations too. On the fence for 22" winter tires vs. a set of smaller wheels/winter tires from Tsportline that I can just swap myself. On the X the tires are asymmetrical, so can't be rotated. On the S & 3, they should be rotated every 10-12k mi, per owners manual.

I was wondering the same. Their support forum seems to be neglected as well.

Car Suddenly Won't Go To Sleep

Curious if your password change helped sleep at all. I'm on 2019.28.3.1 and for the past 4 days or so, my X will sleep for 45-60-min at a time, then wake, then sleep again later.

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

Will be interested to hear what they find. I gave up on it for now and had mobile service turn off the Enhanced portion in the MCU. So the hardware is still installed, but no more motion sensor or options under Security. If there's a fix for this down the road, or a way to adjust sensitivity...

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

Good question. I've only had mine installed for about 2-months, so I didn't have much of a sample size for false alarms. But seems like it could be related to software updates. Seemed to be around 2019.16.2 when I first started getting triggers, which is also what OP reported being on.

    Tow eye storage?

It should have been included with your set of random parts. I believe mine was in the trunk along with the sun shade.

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

I agree. Definitely thinking its Tilt/Intrusion as that's the trigger for the Enhanced Security. It'd be awesome if it wasn't all or nothing, and we could just disable Tilt. But to get sentry, you have to go all-in on the security features.

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

I ended up canceling my appointment last month to give firmware a chance to fix it. But no luck. Have had at least 2 more false alarms, and 2 likely REALLY hare-trigger alarms. I've got a new mobile service appointment set for next week. I'm hoping they can just turn the motion off, so they...

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

That's encouraging that there's a fix. Mine just went off again randomly in my garage. It seems weird it's consistently at home in garages. Maybe it's just a numbers game since that's where we park most. Just made a service appointment, hoping for a fix. Otherwise, I'll just remove Enhanced...

    Random Car Alarm Triggers

Had the exact same thing happen the other day, twice. Nothing since. First time I walked by it and it went off. Second time I wasn't even close to it. In garage both times. AP 2.5, enhanced theft, 2019.16.2

    Tire Bands for 22"

Super old thread...but curious what your experience is/was with these bands. Still not sold on them in general, but after getting my first curb rash today in the 22's, keeping an open mind to prevent future blemishes after this is fixed.

    AP Sensors gone crazy?

That's weird, it looks like its picking up the lane markers. Does it always do this? How does it react on solid lined lanes? I'd leave PPF removal for the very last option. I also have full PPF w/ holes cut at sensors, and I haven't seen anything like this. I'm guessing you've tried the usual...

    Sun Visor Rattle - Solved!

I've had the common and annoying sun visor rattle since delivery. After taking it into the SC for other work, they replaced it with the "latest" part, even though mine is a Dec '18 build. The rattle went away for about a month, but then came back. I could rotate it to fix for a day or two, but...

I know it, especially when the idea of Superchargers is for road trips. The N & NE side of Indy are set, time to expand. Sentry Mode for US Model X

Ohhhh...! I'm also really looking forward to that (aka advanced summon). Some of the recent videos look to be improved over the first few that rolled out. I know its early, and there are lots of conditions to consider, but pretty cool stuff either way.

Noise while sitting in back seat

The only rattle I've had is the driver's side sun visor. That has been pretty much fixed, no other noises to report at the moment. The service center was great in offering to ride along to listen to that noise when I took it in for an unrelated issue. He immediately knew what it was. As quiet...

Frunk aftermarket shruts pop open automatically

I believe OP is referring to an aftermarket parts some people have put on the 3, so that when you hit the Frunk button on your key fob (for example) the Frunk goes all the way up, instead of just popping up a bit. I've not seen anyone do this on the X, but the videos I've seen on the 3 make...
