It’s fixed connection to my iPhone but not my older iPod touch or my PS5 controllers

I have a service appt with them already to replace a cracked windshield and added this to the ticket.

Mine is the iPhone 8 Plus and the last gen iPod Touch. Touch actually stopped connecting after an update in October but the iPhone worked fine until this last update. The owners manual in the car specifically says it works with all iPod Touch’s and iPhones.

After updating to 2024.8.4 on my new Model S it no longer connects either my iPod Touch nor my iPhone 8 over Bluetooth. Anyone else having Bluetooth connectivity problems?

agree... seems Tesla software and regen capabilities should essentially exercise the required smarts in optimizing range without you having to play the 1970 gas car games with neutral.

totally agree LTE updates are essential for those of us who cannot simply install wifi into our condo or work parking decks. They really need to start doing delta updates to keep update data size down and accelerate download and installation of updates.

In my experience bluetooth and wifi connectivity only continue to get worse with every update except this minor update seems to be a small regression on that theme. If you value connection stability best you somehow revert back to the middle of last year.

Two things I can verify they fixed in this minor update are wifi/bluetooth connection stability and the in-car usb formatter which now works for my Samsung T5 SSD which wasn't enabled in the previous releases.

It's been that way since day one and it doesn't seem they care enough to actually fix it. What makes it worse is you can't use voice control without it. The only fix is resetting it. Once and awhile it will recover on it's own but it can take 20+min.

Mine refuses to actually store footage of the events. The only events I see in the in-car listing are the second before i tap my key card to get in the door. I mean for real that's how bad it is that they don't even discount the event a half second before unlocking and opening the door. Please...
