This also supports what I am saying, regardless. There are multiple reasons for interventions regardless. And I am a perfectly normal driver. Everyone I know who has experienced FSD has the same complaints I have.

Someone who will gently press the accelerator when the car attempts to stop way before the stop line, so as to get it to stop at the actual line, especially when there is a trailing vehicle. Because that is just complying with traffic laws and norms.

Look, no actual normal person is going to use it without intervention with it behaving that way. End of story.

Bring it up in the context of v12 (aka v11 on the freeway). Just something I noticed. As others have said, maybe v12 will be better but at this point it’s a matter of telling Tesla to show us. And they are going to need to keep their mileage numbers up. TBD how they will accomplish that...

No. I want the car to slow down like a normal person would, obviously. It’s not a crisis. It doesn’t even take slamming, as we all know. Really annoying and pretty inconsistent but generally poor.

Specifically it is just a quite accurate measure of remaining usable energy. It does not have units of distance. Rated miles are units of energy (different units for every car model).

Not sure how people use v11 in traffic on the freeway. If someone in front of you jams on the brakes, so does v11. Unusable. Who does this? Fortunately rarely a use case for me. But alleged to be one of the good uses for FSD. Not recommended!

Not an edge case. Maybe this means we’ll have to wait for 12.5 for the fix to this very difficult problem. I am still betting on a 12.4 fix though. Crazy that people are still sacrificing their wheels! I just disengage before every right turn (and some left ones).

Agreed. Just sounded like the general speed. Wasn’t clear to me that was the speed during this specific incident. It might be. It’s a little hard to tell. The video has been pulled now, though it is available on Twitter of course.

This is not a BMS issue as was said. Just figure out why the car is stopping charging early. Turn on all notifications in the app, etc. possible some issue with on-board charger but you’d likely have an error message if so. So probably something is just stopping the charge. Look at WC...

Definitely one of the better enhancements over the years; makes driving much more consistent at a high SOC. Though I will disable it just for the challenge on occasion. For the wider audience of mainstream drivers, this consistency is probably also safer.
