Had a December 2019 LR Plus and now a December 2023 Refresh. Love the Refresh in every way. Driving experience, cabin noise, cooled seats. The presenting doors were amazing on the 2019, but are very sad on the 2023.
Big fan of the cream, but have always ended up with black though. Would never get white in n the 3/Y and black was the only option on my tax edition X.
Hearing how good(or not good) it is, is enough reason to have no problem getting a more polished version in a few weeks or months.- a fellow 2024.8.X owner
I don’t have the attention span to read all of that, but this isn’t the first time they have done a free trial and won’t be the last. I imagine there are more people who will try it and be willing to try it again vs those who might opt to never touch it.
I’d take 400 mile Tesla estimated range so 325-350 real world. Hills, wind and speed really kill range. If you have even one of those fighting you currently it really hurts your range. I drove from AZ to VT to FL a couple of summers ago in a model Y so got to experience all these things. Over...
I wouldn’t “blame” the EPA. The only thing that happend is the range estimate is more accurate. You were never going to get 335 and honestly doubtful you can hit 322 either.
Do you have 22” on that thing?
Hopefully this price sticks around. I expect ALOT of people will subscribe even just for EAP level for highway. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.
To me this feels like they needed to lower the price with out lowering the price.
I used Turbo tax both this and last year. It immediately picked up that my 2023 income was too high and said it would use my 2022’s income which was just shy of the limit and gave me the full credit. I was a little nervous how that was going to work as a knew going in my 2023 was over the limit...
Having owned both the X only going to get a smidge more range. The battery is about 25% larger so if there is any better changing curve that I’m not aware of it’s negated by that.
It’s very comfortable and fun to drive.
I’ve never seen curb rash on X or S models like the 3 and Y’s seem to suffer.
My December delivery 2023 X the rubber extends past the rim so it’s going to be much less likely to occur.
Bugger I knew they would bring this back. I bought a new X poverty edition in 2023. Sold my 2020 private sale that had FSD. I only moved on it because I’m not eligible for for the tax credit this year.
Not an exact match, but might be interesting, will be listing soon.
2020 LR Plus, 7 seater, 51500 miles, includes FSD, 20” wheels, white ext, black int.
Located in Tampa FL.
Would definitely be handy for camping or running a blower for a bounce house etc. nothing worse than someone renting a bounce house at the park and running a generate 20’ft away for the day.
The ones that had 371 new have a revision. H battery(slightly different chemistry). My 2020 LRPlus had 351 when it was new built December of 2019. How real the 20 mile increase is I don’t know.
It’s a white 7 seater with 20” and FSD. Will be up for sale soon.
You should get both. I did. $1K off for being a CT reservation holder and 10K points for a Self referral.
10K points is generally worth around $600. Except in the case of a LR model 3 or Y, then it’s worth $2000 to unlock Acceleration boost.
Thanks for the update there. I have this set up and didn’t know it was doing this. I just bought a new one as well so was thinking about setting it up. Not to sure yet but more likely to with your note.
EDIT: Scratch that. Won’t this wake it up if I park it else where too? like the airport for...
A stealth color popped on in inventory yesterday here in Tampa, order and schedule pickup for Wednesday. 23 VIN. A little nervous they may have some last week of the year incentive. I won’t qualify for the tax credit next year.
Mines a 2020 but built in December 2019, I was considering trading in but going to go with an 3 year X care warranty.
Having test srove a new X it’s much nicer but I don’t think it’s 50K nicer.
Do y’all worried about resale flip your cars the next year? Give it 3-5 years like most car buyers and it will normalize. There are also those folks who rode the ride up in the last and sold their used Tesla at a profit.
Interesting to me also people say it’s a 20K drop . If you have been...
The highest Ive seen my 2020 X LR Plus is 180 ish, but I’ve actually nEver SC with the battery super low either maybe 15% is the lowest. It’s a few minutes slower to charge the previous 3 and Y that I had, it’s annoying but not as annoying as having to use a key fob.
On the best of days the X can exceed my bladder capability. On the worst of days it cannot. I’d like it to be able to challenge me even when it’s not nice out. The charging time is getting much better with new generations so it matters a bit less.
I just bought one on eBay and can’t reprogram my self it appears. They want $211 to come out and it seems like going to the SC isnt being given as an option.
Just drove from FL to VT and then back. The range was good and we were ready for a stop. Mines a 2020 and at some chargers was pretty slow, a newer one could help that.
I actually did the same as you going from a 2020 Y to a 2020 X. I love the X but going backward on charging speed and the key fob from the phone key take a bit of getting use to!
This is to be expected, the Y has much newer chemistry than a legacy X. You need a refresh X to match the Y.
I did the same trade but knew that difference was going to be there.
Honestly it’s pretty noticeable, but not terrible. The larger X batter helps. I couldn’t imagine having a pre Raven...
I have a X LR Plus currently. I’ve had 3’s and Ys in the past and the slowed charging speed was a little annoying. The timing on the other cars was good with V3 the X it’s a bit longer than needed and on the longer spans slowed the trips a bit.
Anyways 500 probably isn’t needed but real world...
Recently took a trip to Phoenix, took 2 trips in Uber and 4 in Waymo, felt way safer in the Waymo vehicles. The Uber drivers had shot suspension and check engine lights or would get lost. The Waymo vehicles drive a bit slow but I always felt very safe.
Had a similar issue. A car started merging into me pushing me toward some lane seperators. I was able to avoid the collision, click the clip button a few moments after and yeah of course it’s the only thing NOT on the SSD….WTF
This is very interesting. My fob dies all the time, it sits about 15 feet away. My wife’s hasnt had an issue in the last 2 years. Hers is usually in the bed room 60 ft away from the vehicle. Perhaps I need to move it further away.
I really miss phone as key. I had a a 3 and Y previously and upgraded to a 2020 X and no longer have phone as key. The fob is super annoying. It’s not much of change for my wife though she’s got it in her purse.
