How much snow can it handle ?

Not exactly a fair statement. RWD with snow tires did pretty well in non hill settings (15% - 20% incline).

How much snow can it handle ?

Had xice tires on. M3 RWD, local was fine, going up hills was a problem.

    Toyota chief doesn’t get it

Seems to be missing a lot of info. I'm hesitant to believe Toyota suddenly has a magical solid state solution AND it's ready for prime time.

Free Tesla 3 [die cast version, at SC]

Free Tesla 3 [die cast version, at SC]

I was just at the service center dropping off my car. They had a stack of red model 3s arranged like a Christmas tree at the sales counter. I asked if it was the one they used to give out with new car purchase (it was). They offered me one without even me asking! :)

Adding to the saga: 1st piece of glass: Rear glass stress fracture (factory manufacturing defect) 2nd piece of glass/1st replacement: Rear glass poor QC. Significant distortion (glass supplier defect - unfortunately QC didn’t catch it). Front glass also cracked while they replaced the rear 3rd...

Looking to find regional managers and corporate contacts

LinkedIn worked for me, which forwarded my concern to a "customer experience" team. Not sure if it did too much, but it at least got the undivided attention of the service center manager. Just be professional. Give it a try.

    Oil Change

No $ cost. 30+ days in the shop. The car was producing a popping sound. Ended up being bad motor oil. It's odd. Popping sound was there since new. Oil was changed around 21K miles.

    Oil Change

A bit of a touchy topic for me given I had some popping issues with my motor. Guess what? An "oil change" fixed it. Per my repair description: "Technician performed a test drive and found popping noise coming from both the front and rear of the vehicle. Performed a rear suspension check and...

Model 3 Break-In South Bay Area

Why do they even bother breaking the small window? Yes it gives them access to open the rear seats, but how are they supposed to steal anything from that small of a gap? (or do they break the large window later)

Partially, yes. It's just becoming more of an inconvenience. Also a liability once the warranty runs out.

18” Winter Aero Tire/Wheels on AWD LR model?

Simple change in the menu. You can probably find a set of standard MXM4 for <$1,000 like new on CL. Unlikely to be winter tires, but mounting a set of x-ice would still come out cheaper (and you'd have some spare MXM4s, for what purposes, who knows)

    Upgrade to FSD before increase?

Cause a vehicle has a finite life. Makes absolutely no sense to charge full price for FSD on a five year old vehicle vs. a brand new vehicle.
