How to reset your Tesla to fix issues

You can also change the wheel design instead of the language, it does the same thing wrt rebooting. It makes it easier to read when you want to change it back and no chance of accidently picking Chinese where you've little chance of finding the right menu item again.

What are we expecting to happen price-wise on Model 3 in Canada?

I think the first month of a quarter is the worst time if you're considering new inventory. Deals, reductions, free supercharging all seem to increase towards the end of the quarter, but we have no idea if they will do anything this quarter so its a gamble. If you're going to just order your...

    EV-CPO.com CPO Consolidator support thread

Apologies, I must have been confused on that one. Switching to Canada which is what I'm more interested in, when HW4 is selected I'm seeing no results for either MS or MX, yet plenty of them seem to be if you click through and look at the data against the car. I can tell you're getting a...

Data still looks wrong to me. You seem to have a number of new MS and MX with FSD but when you reach the Tesla buy page for the car they don't have it. Luckily I didn't pull the trigger and buy one given I'd have been soemwhat disappointed to find FSD was missing on collection. I imagine it...

    Sale on Model S Demos

I think they're all HW3 cars and they're trying to clear them out as production this year has HW4 and they'll soon be arriving.

    EV-CPO.com CPO Consolidator support thread

Yep I noticed they all look wrong on ev-cpo but they look right on tesla-info, at least they do in the US. In Canada they all say HW3 on both although the few I digged into do seem to be HW3 cars. Something odd going on?

    New Model S - Input

I think even on the 2021+ cars there have already been a few changes to the lights and charge port. But I guess thats the thing with Tesla, its both a positive and negative that they do continual evolution. If you buy new you get the latest, but it will be slightly out of date by lext week. One...

Can't decide, Black or Silver MY ----

If the black is still a flat black, I'd go for Metalic Midnght Silver. A well polished, scratch free, stone chip free, dent free black car looks amazing, but as others have said, its really hard to maintain.

    PPF and Ceramic Coating

I'd certainly wish I'd had self healing PPF on the front, it stone chips easily. Ceramic coating I'm less convinced about whether it provides much protection or just makes you think it does when it's easier to clean. As for ceramic coating on top of a self healing film, I'm not sure what you'd...

Teslas in Italy, are like unicorns…

European roads are very different, and Italian cities different again! I can see why some of my friends over there think FSD won't be fully unleashed on their roads for a while!!

    Black or white interior?

White seats here, although I'm not a fan of the white trim accent on the dash akthough the wood is worse. It's a shame they don't sell replacement, dealerfit official alternatives in a variety of finishes, but that is another story.

    Comparing my 2022 Model Y RWD with my 2021 Model 3 SR+

Good summary I believe the latest M3 RWD are slower than they used to be, so if the MY shares the same sprial(?) wound motors and battery with the latest M3 you've probably got a bit of a slower drive train and a bigger, less aero car. I imagine it's still plenty fast enough. I'll be...

Exactly $63 more a month for MY"P", do it?

I've not noticed that much difference once you're off the line when I was testing the M3 LR v P, I presume thats the same with the MY. That sudden extra jolt in the P just hurts my neck, a sure sign I'm getting older I guess. But, if thats what you want, I'd do it. Even if it was like for like...

[UK] used value of their Tesla cars plummeting?

Aren't all cars holding their value well at the moment? The 50% deprectiation in 3 years dates back to pre covid times. Used prices are really high, even with ICE at the moment.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

2022.28.1 here A positive!!! Something I like about Tesla vision is it seems to see stopped vehicles further away than before, and actually start to brake, rather than leaving it to a game of chicken to see who brakes first. Erm, after that, nothing, if anything I found it less assured. And...

[Site no longer works]Got tired of using Tesla.com and EV-CPO to search inventory, so I built my own

Another vote for this tesla-info interface Tesla Info: new and used cars for sale Does everything tezz-la did and then some, but then adds loads of extra info that's easy to see on a specific car, and mixes tesla and 3rd party listings - brilliant. Still trying to master the search function...

Another Used Model S pre-buy questions

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Just been looking at the UK sub forum and it looks like one of the inventory tracking websites has found new inventory Model 3s to buy. There are none in Aus at the moment but maybe not long before there will be some and possibly they're getting through the order backlog.

If they can make profit from using the data, what's stopping them just taking out a paid subscription using a gmail account? Free Super Charging on Model S

Its in mytesla -> manage car and there's a link to the car spec. To avoid offending Hank I won't post a link where its explained in more detail. For what its worth, I also think SC01 is transferable, SC05 is not, and the reason why there are no SC01 on ev-cpo is because Tesla are removing it...

Free Super Charging on Model S

Depreciation on Model S is Horrible

I've noticed tesla-info.com are now publishing the depreciation figure for a lot of the CPO cars - I'm not sure how useful it is in general but you have to go back to 2015 and earlier before you start seeing cars with depreciation over 50% - seems they like to charge plenty to buyers but give...

Is getting a Model S really that hard?

You've been a member here for 7 years I'm surprised you're surprised. I'm a relative newboy but have done a lot of back reading and I already know that their communication is dreadful. Remember the wording on the "unlimited supercharging for life" when the referral scheme first came out that...

Is getting a Model S really that hard?

Raven aren't included in the unlimited supercharging. You can argue, and they will argue back as its crystal clear in the description of each specific car. All the pre raven inventory that were listed when the tweet went out got it but even back then there was the odd raven in the world that...

Any news about the CCS adapter for S and X?

Boy, you two like to argue All I can say is a +1 for tesla-info here, the interface is much better especially on mobile. lots more cars, ability to see independent and tesla listings side by side, no need to register, totally free etc. The people will decide I guess.

M3 Inventory cars now on Tesla site.

Don't doubt it, especially around here, but choice is good, and the two have different ethos in how they do it. I think its great we have options.

M3 Inventory cars now on Tesla site.

If anybody can't wait for ev-cpo, they're on https://tesla-info.com/US/inventory.html The most interesting thing is when you compare the new inventory to the prices some people are asking for used ones (which is a lot) , both of which you can see on that site.

    EV-CPO.com CPO Consolidator support thread

Hank - you got it wrong, a guy bought a car thinking it had a 5k option it didn't because of your site and you show no remorse you just blame Tesla. A guy points to a data feed that Tesla provide and you dismiss it, you don't even comment on that point, and you just blame Tesla again saying...

    CPO vs. Non CPO

tesla-info.com, on the detail page for every car they show a similar chart for that model. They're also the only site I've found that lists both Tesla Used/CPO and used not from Tesla. It would be cool if you could click an individual dot and it take you to that car but I guess you can't have...

    CPO vs. Non CPO

I find tables like this also help, it gives you some idea of the relative price differences between CPO and non CPO cars for a given model, year and by mileage. CPO prices are often not much different to non CPO, but at least it gives you something to bargain with when buying outside Tesla. .

All Model X Performance Gone from Tesla New Inventory?

There's several on other inventory sites with a "buy" button, so my guess is they've just hidden them which knocks them out of ev-cpo. https://tesla-info.com/US/inventory.html has about 30 MX with Ludicrous listed for the US, bit awkward to see as some are under Ludicrous performance and some...

Looking at the used market for a Tesla Model S

    1. Not to worry too much about mileage as there is less mechanical complexity to wear out. Concentrate more on condition. True up to a point, but I'd be inclined to but below 50k miles so you get a window of Tesla warranty for peace of mind (the battery and motors are warranted for 8 years...

Blog Bloomberg: Model 3 Production Could Approach 80,000 Cars

Not sure why this is under the MX deliveries? I have seen an article, may have been FB, where a VIN tracker for MS and MX suggested that if the highest VIns seen was a reflection of production if not sales, then they're on for 25k in the quarter which is a fairly full quarterly number. The...

Best resource for looking at inventory cars?

ev-cpo but increasingly tesla-info.com in my experience Hank disagrees with every other site but try them for yourself - just having a quick squint at the numbers tesla-info have about 980 US CPO cars, EV-CPO about 920, for the sake of argument they have the same cars. tesla info claim to...

    Is this a good deal?

Find the car on Tesla US New CPO and Used cars including MS MX and Model 3 as it will show you the market for similar cars including both Tesla listed and those for sale at other garages and give you a value assessment against the market. Trouble with ev-cpo is it only gives a very selective...

    A couple of spec questions

Don't change your order - you should be able to pick up new 21" wheels which are referral rewards and better wheels than the standard 21" ones for less than the upgrade price, and you'd keep the 19" wheels that come with the car. You just need to wait until the referral ones start appearing (the...

    EV-CPO.com CPO Consolidator support thread

I don't buy the excuse, the list is only what Tesla lists so investment funds etc could get the same data directly, they've certainly the resources to scan a bit of data, and there are other sites with more comprehensive listings including mixing in Teslas hidden stock (which is where the value...

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

You seem to list a lot less stock than other sites, for Aus you have just 2 new MX and 8 MS - maybe your site is really just aimed at the US market as others have over a 100 listed?

    Tesla discontinuing 75kwh packs

That certainly still seems to be the case, new cars are being added all the time to that site. The US have a different design studio that talks to the new model names but we just seem to have lost the 75D option
