I’ve been having this issue since 2019 and it’s still persisting. Tesla service has looked at it twice and have said it’s a firmware bug and no ETA for a fix. Quality stuff! Super frustrating. At least it’s intermittent and usually resolves in a day or two. Sometimes it will go on and off...

I did. I have found that I don't have the discipline to put it on all the time though. It's also not waterproof, so kind of annoying to deal with when its raining as it soaks up a lot of water and is hard to dry out.
