I’m originally From Rochester, NY. this all sounds so similar to KODAK. Awesome company, but their mentality was “ everyone will always buy KODAK film”. Well a few decades forward, they are almost bankrupt.

If Tesla wants to hose you on trade, or don’t want to accept trades that’s poor customer service. But when they promised something, then uses deceiving tactics, or bait and switch, is completely unacceptable.

FYI I just walked away from delivery, when I order, I was quoted a $36000 for my trade, plus an additional $5000 for having free supercharging. ( in writing ) When the final paperwork was done, they only gave me $36000 for the trade and said the $5000 was included. Which is total BS, so...

The last 4 Tesla my family bought , we were able to get in and inspect the car. Now the last time we bought a Tesla was in 2019. So maybe things have changes, but still weird they won’t let you inspect the car.

Again, if the HPWC draws more than 60amps, up to 100 amps, it won’t matter, the line is build to handle 100amps. House wiring can handle. The HPWC, is fried, that’s why they have a fuse in the HPWC. A 60Amp, breaker won’t protect a 48amp HPWC. The voltage has never changed, is still 240v.

The breaker size is irrelevant, as long as it can support the 48amp equipment. 60 or 100 amp doesn’t matter. Is a overkill, but is already installed, so no need to downgrade. here another way to look at it. old v2 wall connector had the option to do 80 amp, if a dual charger model S or X...

Think it of this way. You have 120 outlet with 20A breaker. You can plug an iPhone or a portable heater. It doesn’t matter what they draw. 1amp or 18amp, you would not swap breaker if you dedicated that outlet to a iPhone.

Incorrect, the 60amp or 100amp is to protect your home or the 200-400amp service, not to protect the equipment. The wall connector has its own protection.

Since your wire is setup for 100amps, you should not have to. If for some reason the Gen 3 draws more than 48amps its internal breaker will Disconnect.

I have 3 Tesla’s and would love to have my option to use my vehicles battery as a power wall in a emergency.

I’m wondering if wall connector V2 is better than V3? Also I have a order in for the 500 miles Cybetruck, and also will be buying the Roadster once is available. Which has a 600 mile range. I’m think both will have dual chargers, or it will take forever to charge if you are close to empty.

I don’t think, they done anything, they keep looking at it, adjusting bolts, and saying it can’t be fixed.

I got the same problem, has any one used the lemon laws to get this fixed ? Or get anew car. I have taken my X many times , and still not fixed.
