Hello,

I want to get a Tesla Model Y AWD Long Range or Performance. My only requirement is it has an LFP batteries. I'm in the US and would be picking it up in the US.
If there are some LFP how do i identify? Vin#? Setting Charge Range#? etc
Thank you

LFP batteries are less energy dense than other lithium ion chemistries. At this point that generally rules them out for the "long range" models in Tesla's range. There's no indication that is going to change any time soon. At this moment your requirements are fundamentally incompatible with each other.

This weight seems pretty good?

Decent. Those are about 150wh/kg, where current Tesla NCA packs seem to be in the range of ~180wh/kg.

That power output though… even the big pack only puts out 120kw, or ~160hp. Eww.

A Model 3 RWD with a ~60kwh LFP battery makes around 270hp.
