sometimes when my homelink is activated (either by me or by proximity to my garage) it will effectively press the button twice. i have a Liftmaster system with MyQ.
when this happens when the door is on the way up, the door stops when the button is pressed the second time, so to speak. when it happens on the way down, it opens back up. (these are what the door should do when the button is pressed again).
I believe that the homelink system is learning a code that is too long and then when it spits out the code later, it somehow sends out a longer code than is necessary and this activates the system twice.
I've tried deleting the door and starting over and it does the same thing (after a while).
any suggestions? should i ask the people at Homelink or do you think this is more of a tesla problem?
