So do Tesla's not come with a tire repair kit? If you get a nail in a tire, you are just supposed to call for a tow? A flat bed tow no less, which you might have to wait hours for because most tow services don't have flat bed tow trucks available?

They do in Maryland. Basically, it depends on state regulations, but just base your decision on not getting one and go from there.

Well, I've outfitted an emergency road kit based on a bunch of information here. I'll keep it in the frunk. The base kit I had included a bulb and plastic tubing for siphoning gas!

Basically, I have:

Jumper cables
small can of WD40
screwdriver with mult. heads
adjustable wrench (some open ended ones too that just came with the base kit)
gloves
LED flashlight
pliers
electrical tape
superglue
allen wrenches
glow sticks
zip ties
and some spare fuses

I still need the air inflation kit that Eda mentioned earlier too in this thread.
