Ordered a Model Y LR from Carvana

Anyone have any tips, waiting on my delivery for my Model Y and need to provide proof of Insurance for the vehicle to Carvana upon delivery, but I really just want to get insurance through Tesla. Issue is I cannot due to the Tesla App not being set up for the car. Anyone gone through this experience and have any tips for me? Thanks!

When I got my new Y last month I gave the VIN to my current insurance company. they gave me a temporary id card which I gave to Tesla as proof of insurance for delivery. Once you take delivery you can get your insurance from Tesla and cancel the temporary insurance.

Can't insure a car without a blimmin app! Can't get an app without the car. Can't get the car without insurance. Can't insure the car....

The Tesla insurance underwriter needs his head slamming in a door a couple or three times until he figures something out.
