Refresh/2024 Model X Sub-trunk refrigerator?

Does anyone have experience with Acopower or other brand refrigerators for the model X refresh? I need something reliable for medication. I'm coming from a 2017 six seat model x with a Dometic fridge between the seats in the middle row.

I've seen a few places selling the Acopower/Tesfridge, but no reviews on the one for the Model X.

We've traveled (3,000-mile trip) with a sub-trunk refrigerator (this one) in our Model Y (about to trade our Model 3 for an X). We found that the heat generated while covered was uncomfortably high, so we moved it above the sub-trunk, which worked out much better. You can keep the sub-trunk cover open, but it's still pretty hot down there, and the heat doesn't dissipate well. We didn't want to overtax the electronics or make the fridge system work harder than it was designed to work.

I bought one directly from ACO Power. It works well, but it’s not a perfect fit in either our late 2016 or late 2023 Model X. The subfloor has a bit of a bump towards the back of the car. ACO Power did not account for that, which makes the cooler stick up about 3/4 inch, and the cargo board doesn’t fit with the cooler in the sub trunk. The coolers designed for 3 & Y take up the whole sub floor space, but the cooler for the X doesn’t. There is space on either side. And for camping (sleeping in the back of the car), I need the cargo board installed: otherwise stuff falls into the voids of the sub trunk, and/or the Thermarest is’t supported. - The company offered me a discount if I keep it, but I have asked them for a free return. (Supposedly they are working on redesigning it, but I have now seen older reviews that say the cooler for the X isn’t a perfect fit, but the company has not changed their website to let potential buyers know. Meaning they are aware it’s not a perfect fit. That seems devious to me. No word on the website that they are ACTUALLY redesigning it.)
Now, if you just need it to keep drinks, groceries or medication cold. and don’t care that the cargo board doesn’t fit over it, it’s a good cooler.

Ugh I have the Acopower in my Y and just ordered one for my X. I did get $250 off so maybe it will be worth it. I take delivery of the X on Tuesday this coming week.

Damnit, this thing doesn’t even come close to fitting properly. Plus mine gave a compressor error and started beeping and is completely dead now. I’m asking to return it.

Sounds like the Model X 16 volts fried it.

Maybe, I had one in my 2022 MYP and it worked great. I emailed them on Tuesday with no response yet. Might have to do a chargeback.

Try this one. Not expensive, working well. Keeping cold too. I have MX 2016 90D and I have 12V port on the back of my trunk. Not sure about new models.
