With the team being laid off I hear

I guess with Tesla letting all the supercharger Department cool will never see this

It sounds like all new sites are on pause per an email that Tesla sent out. That specific line of the email is read at the 7min mark of the video

Any word from anyone in Ely, talking to anyone in Ely, or passing through Ely if there's any progress on this station?

One senior guy on the team is back. George Bahadue, Senior Manager of Site Acquisition and Business Development, commented on LinkedIn:

“Two weeks ago, I was asked to return to Tesla in my previous capacity heading up the business development and site acquisition for Tesla charging – I accepted.”
