Will auto steer ever get an update that allows the driver to position the car right or left of center in the lane? My Tesla is always either too far right or too far left which gets scary when driving next to concrete road dividers or next to a car.

No, but you might not really be as far over in the lane as you think. If you can prove that your car isn't centered in the lane when it should be, try recalibrating your cameras (under Controls > Service) or have Tesla Service check them out.

I dream of the day when we are given a full screen of sliders, switches and parameters where we could tweak the behavior of FSD. Until then we have 3 or 4 settings.
