GFCI in mobile connector keeps tripping

I found some older thread on this topic: Mobile Connector GFCI Tripped. I wouldn't say it's really conclusive. But it seems I have to buy a new mobile connector. $250.

GFCI in mobile connector keeps tripping

The mobile connector has red light, and the car display says the GFCI in the mobile connector tripped. Also, I reset it by disconnecting the mobile connector, not doing anything at the outlet. So, it must be the internal GFCI. And true, all the Google searches I came up with were about the...

GFCI in mobile connector keeps tripping

I can see there are many threads about GFCI tripping problems, but I cannot really find an answer. I have a mobile connector connected to a NEMA 14-50. The GFCI in the mobile connector very often trips, I would say once per day. Then I have to disconnect the mobile connector from the wall...

    Charging two Teslas

Perhaps, but I don’t know how well you can combine with ‘charge on solar.’ Having the schedule separate from the Tesla app with ‘charge on solar’ might make it easier.

    Charging two Teslas

No, actually very useful. Much cheaper than buying two wall connectors. I looked at the instructions, and it's doesn't say anything about being able to schedule charging. That is something you can do through the app?

    Charging two Teslas

It is clear to me from the replies how to charge both Teslas. What I still don't have is a firm answer on is whether it works with "charge on solar." Did anyone get two wall connectors to work with "charge on solar"? Tesla support hints it's possible, but I want to make sure before making a big...

    Charging two Teslas

Surprisingly, they didn't know that at the Tesla showroom. They just said you cannot charge two Teslas simultaneously.

    Charging two Teslas

You’re right. It seems like WC3 doesn’t allow connecting multiple WC to a single circuit breaker. The third diagram is missing from the most recent installation guide. It seems you need a subpanel. That of course increases installation cost.

    Charging two Teslas

The main thing is we need to charge mainly during daytime to get the electricity from our PV. There is a somewhat narrow window when there is sun and the cars are at home.

    Charging two Teslas

That’s what I meant. I was talking about the wire to the 14-50 outlet, not the outlet itself. It’s clear to me that has to go. My question is: I can connect the two wall chargers to a single cable?

    Charging two Teslas

So, I could use the single wire to the 14-50 outlet and connect two wall connectors to that wire?

    Charging two Teslas

Yes, this is what I would like to do. But I would want to make sure it also works with "charge on solar."

    Charging two Teslas

I use the mobile connector. The NEMA 14-50 is on its own 50A circuit breaker. So, I could buy two wall connectors and connect them to the NEMA 14-50 (or hardwire them to the cable going to the outlet, I guess). But you are saying each needs its own circuit breaker? So it's not possible...

I connect it to a NEMA 14-50 outlet with a 50A circuit breaker.

    Charging two Teslas

Not according to the link arnolddeleon posted: "This functionality is ideal for households that need to charge more than one electric vehicle at the same time but may not have enough power for multiple electrical circuits. Installing a single circuit to power multiple Wall Connectors may be the...
