My car is being shipped across the country (couldn't bear another 3100 mile, 7 day solo drive with a dog that pukes in the car :rolleyes:) and I'd like to use the app to see where it is. Right now it seems there's been no progress since last night and the "location" jumps between two addresses...

I've spent the winter trying to pre-heat the car via the app with mostly failures. I set the heat to the highest setting on the app, the image on the app show "red air' flowing into the car but when I go out to my car the temperate is "lo" and the A/C is on. Full blast. Sometime it works...

The point of ideal FSD is that you shouldn't have to have great reaction time. That's the point of it if it ever actually works but it is so very, very far off the mark at this point. So many Tesla folks, especially on this forum, have drunk the koolaid.

I appreciate your post but it's NOT GREAT when FSD does the negative things you write - and I believe most of us have experienced. There is NOTHING great about creating serious safety issues, accidents and putting others at risk on the road.

OK, so reading many other threads on the subject: that goop does not work with foamed tires (sound insulation) and apparently tesla service has confirmed that. So, you ruin your TPMS sensor, your wicked expensive clothes (mine being my $10 t-shirt and ancient jeans), and you're no further down...

probably a subject of another thread but those $15 sensors were not an option for my 2014 MS. They do not work. Many threads and online discussion (plus Tesla service) confirms this.

The concern will start when they have to replace those wickedly expensive sensors (as I found out with my 2014 MS). Maybe they're cheaper now ?? I do get it that being stranded is a nightmare. Might be good that people know that stuff could cost them $$$ and maybe the instructions say so...
