Peeling Yoke warranty replacement - updated materials?

People absolutely poo poo the company, a lot more so that Elon has become politically lately. Tesla always was and always will be a phenomenal innovator. Yes, they did release the car with a very, very high rate of excellence, but had minor issues which were readily fixed. Now everybody’s...

Supercharger - Mt. Laurel Township, NJ (under construction 4/14/24)

Wow. This is insane. Quantity and quality wise.

Anyone been able to use Pirelli Scorpion Mileage Warranty?

Wow. That is crazy. My understanding is that for the asymmetrical tires. The warranty is half or something like that because you can’t rotate them, but it could be specific to the Toyo proxies I had at some point. I don’t remember anymore. Also, I thought for these warranties they prorated...

Peeling Yoke warranty replacement - updated materials?

Very useful post, thank you very much for all the people that contributed. Mine has been peeling for about a half a year and I’ve been waiting for this new revised yolk which I heard would be available in March but honestly, I forgot about it. I guess we do get to learn to live with the...

    Supercharger - Mahwah, NJ

This is VERY exciting. Great spot. Seems ridiculously convenient heading south on 17 and reasonable heading north. Excellent for connecting the nyc area to upstate. And looks like a quick check is right there? Another KEY question. Are there ccs adapters for the common folk to hog?

    Supercharger - Brooklyn, NY

I think I saw somewhere that this particular location is one of the few in the country where if you stay for more than 80% of charge you’ll have to pay separate fees. Which I think is excellent idea!!! Take away the CCS adapter magic is another excellent idea for this particular location...

    Supercharger - Brooklyn, NY

They use it bc they have no choice. It’s is a VERY unpleasant experience. Hot as hell in summers. No AC at stations and the ones in the subway cars don’t work well. Crime infested by violent thugs. Very very dirty. Rats and vomit and urine infested.

    Supercharger - Brooklyn, NY

That’s very silly logic. Teslas can be cheaper than comparable gasoline cars. Having a Tesla does not equate to wealth. Not even close. Yes maybe the model s or x as they are pricier but not the much much more common model 3 or y. Those cars with federal and state incentives as well as...

    Supercharger - Brooklyn, NY

Nail on head! NYC is VERY hypocritical. You can’t have gas stoves bc planet is dying but we won’t spend a penny on ev chargers. lol. The silly thing is it won’t even cost them a penny bc Tesla is MORE than willing to pay for everything. Just give them the space. And nyc has PLENTY of space...

Tesla is a private company can do what they want. TLC use is against Tesla’s terms and conditions. Tesla can easily block access to superchargers if they detect “suspicious activity” and then have the owner prove that the car is not a TLC car with a simple picture of their license plate. TLC...

    Supercharger - Brooklyn, NY

Tesla has ALL the data. They know exactly what’s going on. This was actually one of the reasons other car companies were hesitant jumping in bed with Tesla for charging until they saw they had absolutely no choice. It’s the data. Just like google and Facebook now. The data is where the money...

Using climate keeper to prevent freezing of liquids in car overnight

Very detailed analysis, big Earl. My car definitely has a heat pump given that it’s a 2022, and when I enable the climate keeper through the app, I don’t think there is a way to do it Manuel as you don’t have many options. I cannot imagine that the car computer heated the car from a 39°...

Using climate keeper to prevent freezing of liquids in car overnight

So as you could see in the previous post, I did kind of tested. Now I’m not an engineer so I don’t know exactly how these things work, but is it possible that it is not running heat but running the maximum cooling of the car and it is just that the HVAC capabilities of this unit in this car only...

Using climate keeper to prevent freezing of liquids in car overnight

So for further follow up for those people on here, who are eagerly awaiting a rigorously tested scientific answer… External temperature was 35 per the car, internal temperature was 39°. I turned it on the LO setting at 9:40 PM took another screenshot at 9:45 PM and then one more at 9:50 PM...
