Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

I sure hope so @M109Rider . I plan to order an M3H in the coming weeks and would be disappointed if they switch to Fremont.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Looking at tesla-info, it seems that MIC model 3 inventory is dwindling (ship hasn't arrived?). On the flip side there are over 1000+ M3H in US inventory. I wonder if Tesla Canada may switch to Fremont M3H in preparation of the possible tariff hike?

The "End of Quarter" Waiting Room / Buying Guide

Per tesla-info, there are quite abit of LR Model Ys in the US. Not so much for RWD. I think that stood about 233 when I last checked.

Do car thieves tend to ignore Teslas?

Thieves who still cars do not think the Tesla is cool enough. Those that think Tesla is cool are too nerdy to steal. :) Just look at the list. They are noisy large vroom vroom vehicles.

Would You Buy a Tesla Phone?

Only if it can make Robocalls.

Is Owning a Tesla Y Manageable in a State Without a Service Center?

^ good point. I am surprised that independent Tesla repair shops are not sprouting up. Is there a clause preventing this? Lack of training? I DIY repair and maintain my cars for years. Having a garage lift helps. Therefore I've not been to dealership/mechanic shop for a long time apart from...

MY 2024/2025 Refresh - Project Juniper?

Based on the latest Teslarati article, they indicated that there is no rush to introduce the Juniper Y since the current model is still selling well. I am thinking Tesla like many companies would want to squeeze out every last remaining ounce of sales momentum. IIRC Model Y still outsells all...

Last of the Model Y pre-Highland?

Doubtful. There are a gazillion Model Ys. Dime a dozen. Is it the most sold Tesla of all time? EVs in general depreciate pretty steeply and so do Teslas. You can derive the used prices of Model X, Y and 3 after their successors show up. I've come across a pre-refreshed Model S for 1/3rd the...

Last of the Model Y pre-Highland?

The Canadian rebate model biases heavily towards SUV. The model Y LR and Performance is cheaper than the model 3 equivalent. Crazy. Model y is very popular. Yesterday at a mall I came across 3 WHITE Model y parked next to each other. Another white Y was about to pull into the adjacent spot but...

Thinking about getting a Model Y

It depends on what year of C-Class. Therefore can't say the Y would be worse in terms of NVH. If you can wait, there is the refreshed version coming soon. You can look up Juniper. To get an idea of the potential improvements, you can check out the Model 3 Highland.

Last of the Model Y pre-Highland?

Not sure about US. Based on tesla-info the inventory of Model Y is double of Model 3 in Canada. I won't worry about it. I don't see the point of buying an exact same car that has not undergone any changes. I like variety.

Ultra Red: What Made You Pay Premium For It?

Whoa! You got me recounting the colours of my past cars. Excluding a hand me down RX-7, I never bought a red car in my life. Idle thoughts, you certainly don't get your money's worth in paint value with the model 3. Think model x is best value for paint volume per dollar. 🤣

Ordered a Used 2021 MY; will I regret not getting a 2022 or later?

It is a used vehicle.... Orange dots usually indicate rail rust dusts. Can be clay-barred out with patience.

Why buy a used Tesla vs leasing brand new one?

Used will shelter you from major depreciation if your have short car ownership lifecycle. Therefore buying a 2-3year old car is a good bet. You still have some remaining warranty. Lease = long term rental. Unless I can write off as business expense, I'd avoid lease altogether. For the snowflake...
