FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Agreed. Useless for me as are all the games, wish they would concentrate on substantive UI and feature improvements instead of all the "bling".

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Agreed, located to the far left it should be doubled in width to be useful - took me a minute to find it after the update. "Butt-feel" aside, I still find myself glancing at it from time to time...

    When to Replace 12v?

FWIW, it's really not worth the trouble to replace the battery yourself. Mobile service will do it for you for around $100 and then you won't have to worry about compatibility or other issues, not sure of the warranty.

    2-3 mph like mine perhaps?

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I just completed a 3800 mile trip with zero PB events thankfully - multiple 2-3 mph "slowdowns" (which are still unwelcome when there's no hint as to why) but none of the old PB's. Definitely an improvement from last year's trips. I'm free to recount my experiences in detail for a page or 4 if...

Thinking about getting a Model Y

I just hit 4 years and 48K with mine, previous M3 and Beemers for a while before that - love my MY. Almost zero maintenance, no dealership crap, charge at home or superchargers on trips (trips are easy, just completed a 3800 miles Yellowstone/Denver trip, many before that), tons of cargo space...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Mine shows the software is up to date as of 8 May, doesn't change after reboot. This is strange so I tried the service request route and was told all is OK, I have the latest version. Funny how the date doesn't update as it always used to though.... 🤔 Edit: "Me and fasteddie have the longest...

Range reduced dramatically in heavy rain

Planning and experience will help you overcome all these issues. Sign up for PlugShare and scope out alternative charging spots if you have long Supercharger gaps you're concerned with or if all the elements conspire against you. I've been taking long trips out west for 4 years now (just...

Acceleration Boost Not Available on 2024 Models?

I'd be very cautious with anything aftermarket for the drivetrain. You're possibly only one software update away from having problems IMO, go OEM for peace of mind.

Acceleration Boost Not Available on 2024 Models?

Agreed, though the boost is very noticeable when first applied. I've found after a few years I rarely feel the need to "punch it" but it's nice to know it's available  .

Try CA 23 from the 101 south of Thousand Oaks to the PCH sometime. I did that a few years back (no FSD) just for a change and WOW, that's an adventure....

Would you Purchase a model Y Again?

And you jumped in and bought it when information on all of your complaints has been readily available for years? Next time spend more time researching so you can spend less time cursing your situation to rando's on the internet - learn from your mistakes and move on already....

Would you Purchase a model Y Again?

You’re very clearly not satisfied but many of us are, overall. Trying to convince others not to be is a waste of time however - we all have our own experiences and vehicle needs. As with all purchases it’s “buyer beware” - many or all of the items you mentioned could have been anticipated prior...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I'm jealous! Just completed a 3800 mile trip, never moved to the right on it's own once and even approaching cars didn't force the move. Mine used to move to the right for tailgating cars at least, no more....
