Ability to turn off passenger vent for refresh Model S?

Might try this, although this is from M3 not MS: To turn the front passenger vent off while the climate control system is on, touch the front passenger air wave on the touchscreen and follow the instructions.

If it is a factory part, try Parts Catalog . Find the part. Then open up a service ticket on the app: App>Service>Other. State PARTS ONLY, give the part description and part number. Tesla will respond with an estimate and the pick up date.

Ability to turn off passenger vent for refresh Model S?

In the previous model, directing the vent all the way toward the door closed it. It may all be electronic now?

    Batteries catch fire on piercing?

If the HV battery is pieced in the right place, or a major accident that smashes through the walls of the battery, it may catch fire. Edmunds says: According to the National Fire Protection Association, the national average in the U.S. was one fire per 19 million miles travelled. Tesla's EVs...

    2013 battery healing itself?

If the other charging was done at a Supercharger of DC source, it goes thru the onboard charger as DC. When using the mobile charger or an AC source, the onboard charger converts this to DC. Perhaps your onboard charger is defective.

    Tesla wall charger issues

Actually, 4awg is the spec for 48A at 240V, 6awg is OK for a stove or other intermittent connection not in spec for continuous 48A. It is in spec for 40A continuous. I also have the wrong 6awg wire connecting mine, and it works at 48A, but I usually charge slowly at 32A. The brains on this...

Also, you can get the temperature inside the connector and other Vitals if you know or can get the IP address assigned to the connector on your network. Put this in your Browser: http://192.168.x.xxx/api/1/vitals replacing the x's with your numbers from the real IP address. It will then show you...

    Tesla wall charger issues

You didn't state the age of your car or the connector. In 2020, Tesla had a problem with the connectors overheating, and could take a look at mine over the Internet and sent me a new one. They have a 4 year guarantee. Don't email Tesla about this or contact service yet. The Connector Support...

Real life experience with Xcelerate warranty?

I have a 2020 Long Range +. The policy covers the next 100K miles, or about 130K miles total for me. There is a 30 day waiting period, so my coverage starts at the end of June, and goes for 7 years from that date. The rate may be higher for a car with more miles, state of residence, and...

Real life experience with Xcelerate warranty?

I just purchased XCare. Covers everything, including the HV battery and drive units until 6/2031 or 130,000 miles, $0 deductible. I figure I won't have any issues when I sell the car since it is under warranty for so long and the new owner can pay me the prorated remainder value of the service...

If you remain asleep, it will do stuff automatically. If you are still in control, Automatic Emergency Braking releases brakes, or stops applying the brakes, when: You turn the steering wheel sharply. You press and release the brake pedal while Automatic Emergency Braking is applying the...

    Tesla software

As far as actual case scenarios, I was backing into a Walmart parking space in my 2020 -- clearly marked space and with a steel post and sign on the post at waist level saying the number of the parking space, with another sign below it showing the Pick-Up instructions. I backed into the post...

No, you can still floor the car through the garage wall even though you are certain your foot is on the brake, and ignore all the warnings.
