Clear liquid is almost certainly just condensation from the AC system. If it was greenish/blueish it could be coolant. If it's light blue it's w/s washer fluid.
Theoretically possible to damage a coolant line, but they're tucked really far up and in. I don't think a low speed curb would get...
FWIW in all your videos the compressor is only cycling at 1600rpm. That's very low. If it was really working hard it would be at 9000rpm. It really seems like the cooling demand is very low and the system is just cycling the compressor on and off to save energy.
I will say it again, if the...
You're already in service mode. If there were issues causing the compressor to 'short-cycle' they would be showing up in the alerts.
The heat pump is a very complex system which operates differently to a conventional HVAC. The fact that other Ys exhibit the same behavior is pretty much case...
I see what you're saying, but in most companies there is a strategy even while cutting costs to maintain the function of the business. That often means if two capable people are in the same role, the one with lower performance will be let go. It will still be considered a layoff because the...
I notice a bit more lag even on 'normal' driving tasks in at Intel car. Still 100% fine for now, but I think a few more years down the road the newer processor will have much better performance and will be much better supported by Tesla. Ryzen has gone into far more vehicles than atom I'm sure...
I've driven quite a few 3s. I would say the biggest day-to-day difference maker is the computer. If you plan on keeping it for a long time, I would definitely look for a Ryzen.
You have a it easy. For a model S owner who is dissatisfied with Tesla's direction there are plenty of compelling alternatives on the 2nd hand market. Used EQSs, Lucids and Taycans all have taken huge depreciation hits. A new ID7 actually looks like it might be the move... really rave reviews...
100%!
I have never been laid off but I have been through multiple layoffs. If layoffs are performance based it still sucks, but at least those who remain know that if they keep working hard, or work even harder, they will be OK.
When layoffs appear random, and extremely successful people/teams...
Yesterday I got a 'bad' supercharger which was maxing out at 35kw (preconditioned, low SoC). Switched to a different supercharger and the rate shot up to max. I expect this behavior from CCS but this had never happened to me on a supercharger, ever. Elon fires the supercharger team and two weeks...
Nothing to worry about. It's probably just balancing the pack, which for a brand new pack probably needs it since it's never been cycled.
Also I'm sure you know this, but supercharging to 100% is super slow and a waste of time. I know the LFP battery says to charge to 100% once a week, but...
Doing a 12v on an early S is not fun, worth the money to have mobile take care of it. If it's a later or dual-motor S, DIY.
I concur, sounds like a 12v.
Hey all, I got these Tesla floor mats for free. They almost fit my 3, but not exactly, so I assume they're for a model Y (can't be sure, don't have a model Y to test them on).
I didn't bother to clean them or anything, but they should clean off fine.
In any case, thought I'd see if anyone...
