    After market rear screen install

So this connects an Android device of unknown security to your cars canbus while also joining wifi and bluetooth networks. So a remote exploit could disable AP while you are driving, move your seat and wheel around, lock you out, change regen while you are driving etc. Hard no from me.

    Tesla Owners Auto Wipers Poll

It's very easy for me to the see the rain on the windscreen in the dark, but I think the issue is the cameras are so close to the screen they only see a small section of glass. Whatever happened to the talk that they were going to start using all the cameras rather than just the front, to...

EU likely to impose 25% import tariff's on cars from China

If it gives Tesla an incentive to move Model 3 production for Europe to Berlin then that's probably a good thing, and is why they built the facility in the first place. A blip in costs for maybe a couple of years while the facility is built. I am a bit surprised by how rigid Teslas...

Would You Buy a Tesla Phone?

Wouldn't it be a SpaceX phone to use Starlink? It would certainly be unlikely I would switch from iPhone, certainly the brand tie in wouldn't be a factor. If it had some amazing ease of use feature then maybe. I tried switching to a Samsung S20 a few years ago and found it so infuriating I went...

    Tesla Owners Auto Wipers Poll

A key variable is the dark, they always seem to be too slow in the dark as I guess they can't see the rain as well.

    [UK] 2024.20 Software Update

Not a play, but it's definitely in the release notes on my car.

EU likely to impose 25% import tariff's on cars from China

I thought it was only MYP from Germany, but I might be wrong as I haven't really been following Model Y.

EU likely to impose 25% import tariff's on cars from China

Currently not for the UK though afaik. They could switch but only making a small number of RHD in that factory might increase costs anyway ?

2ND Brand new M3LR Highland with vibration ! Anyone else with the same car?

Wouldn't it make it more likely ? Pressure applied to the tyre through being strapped down and a high pressure means that it's mainly going to be the rubber that deforms. I'm no tyre scientist though.

EU likely to impose 25% import tariff's on cars from China

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpww6w412n7o I would expect that the UK would be likely to do the same, and that Tesla would be effected ? I would suspect that anyone thinking of buying a new Tesla might want to consider timing, and perhaps used Tesla might see some small improvement in...

2ND Brand new M3LR Highland with vibration ! Anyone else with the same car?

What do Tesla say ? As per Jonnoy there are lots of reports of tyres being flat spotted in transport recently, which seems more common than it was in the past for some reason, different tyres maybe.

    Surprise at Glasgow Service Centre

It's a stupid category of vehicle for anything but agricultural use, but also one that is the most popular in the US. I dislike it just as much as I hate all other stupid US trucks. The Ford e-Transit is far more likely to be something we see on our roads.

    Key fob...no trick pony?

The things that are working are the things that work without power, when did it last work ? I killed a keyfob by dunking it in the sea, they aren't waterproof. It still opened the car as you describe.

No change as far as I can tell.

    [UK] Spring Software Update

Perhaps just being contrary, but I thought the regen meter is significantly more noticeable than before, distracting even. I preferred it how it was before as it seemed easier to ignore, now its always bouncing around in the area of the screen I pay attention to.
