    [UK] Spring Software Update

It has moved to the right side of the screen & is now thinner. Easy to miss...

The indicator issue is due to the setting under the lights menu for indicators being set to auto by the update. Turn that off to return them back to the previous behaviour.

    Few Model S/Tesla Questions...

I can't really speak to the other questions, but, This may be because the car is asleep when you first open the app. For some actions you need to wait for the car to wake up before they work. When you first open the app you'll likely notice the image of the car is shimmering/pulsating, which...

TeslaFi doesn't have data for every Tesla, only the ones who subscribe to their service. >2000 is a large number comparatively on their platform.

    [UK] 2024.14.x

Woke my car up to check, now installing 2024.14.8. I've had .3 and .6 in the past 3 weeks. There must have been some showstopping bugs in those previous versions.

They will have to eventually. I would be quite surprised if they are not already training the system for driving in major markets outside the US. They won't be waiting for the go-ahead from regulators to allow city streets FSD before starting the training process.

    [UK] 2024.14.x

My boot strut started playing up a week after 2024.14.3 was installed but I can't imagine it was software related. It was doing the same thing you describe, as well as grinding/metal-on-metal noise coming from it when it eventually opened after some gentle persuasion. Just had it replaced under...

Yes, it's normal for an update to disappear if you don't install it before the distribution is pulled. You'll just get offered the next one when it's available instead.

    Insurance Question - Young Driver

My son was 25 when I got my M3LR just over 2 years ago. I looked into adding him onto my policy & the best price I was given at the time was £3500 (my policy was ~£600). Bearing in mind that was for domestic UK driving only. To be honest, I think you will be out of luck getting your son covered...

    [UK] Spring Software Update

It's a big leap from updating of Android Auto apps like Waze, Maps, Spotify etc to software updates that affect the operation of the car. I did miss Android Auto for a while when I first got my Tesla but to be honest I'm not sure what functionality I'd ever use on it any more, even if it were...

    No, just regular AP.

    [UK] 2024.14.x

Just noticed a new behaviour on regular AP; it now slows down for roundabouts on dual carriageways while on AP set at 70. I drive the same section of road to a roundabout regularly & it has never slowed before if there was no traffic in the way. Tonight it slowed to a reasonable speed from a...

    [UK] Spring Software Update

I think it's just very very random. My car updated the day I got it, then again three further times in the first month.

I suspect that "No FSD" filter in TeslaFi means cars that are not capable of FSD, not that it is not purchased/enabled. Otherwise there would be many many more in the list. I've had .3 and .6, which would show up there if it included cars that just hadn't bought FSD (I have a TeslaFi sub).

    Bought a Model 3 from a 3rd Party Seller

You should be protected by distance selling rules if you bought it from a remote seller without being there in person. There's also a cooling off period registered dealers have to abide by. It's worth checking up on those in advance of trying to get them to fix anything, so at least you are...
