Charging at home at 16 amps instead of 32

That means you’re getting the “high temp at input outlet” error code. Kind of makes sense it only happens after continuous charging and things heat up. Maybe your wiring has loosened over time. So check your outlet or/and the plug/pigtail on your UMC...

Tesla Solar Panel Design issue (placement of panels)

Did Tesla tell you that the ideal direction for modules (panels) to face is South (#1), East or West (#2), and lastly North. You can try going to PVWatts to estimate your production. Solar modules (panels) are like Tesla car batteries; they degrade over time and are most efficient at optimal...

How to make sure my new Tesla account works?

You’ll need to search for each item individually, and not search for “legacy issues” verbatim. That was a figure of speech. Good luck

Solaredge Optimizer Failed, Tesla say not covered under warranty

Inverter is listed but not optimizer? Dang that sucks… so optimizer will be covered by solaredge but it looks like you’re on the hook for the labor and for them to roll a truck (site visit).

How to make sure my new Tesla account works?

And OP, since you’re new to Tesla and this is a 2013 MS P60, you’ll want to do a deep-dive into the legacy issues on the drive unit, battery, MCU, etc. These topics have been discussed at length on TMC; a search would help. If the preventative maintenance and upgrades have been completed, you’re...

How to make sure my new Tesla account works?

After every charging session, the invoice is available in the Tesla app, or online on the website. Wherever you’re charging now, your supercharger costs are probably being billed to someone else 😂 And not all SC costs are the same; you’ll need to look it up on the in-car nav or the app.

How to make sure my new Tesla account works?

It’s not the charger, but most likely your car. Sounds like your MCU and modem have not been updated/upgraded? Expired certificates? So the vehicle is unable to connect with Tesla. As for the charging speed, the veteran MS owners can opine more on it, but its an 11-yr old car; any limitations...

Solaredge Optimizer Failed, Tesla say not covered under warranty

What does your PV system agreement with Tesla say, regarding parts and labor? The optimizer (part) should be under warranty. For that, Tesla needs to work with SolarEdge for a RMA and replacement part. Labor however, depends on what you signed up for and your paperwork when you bought the system.

How to know what software your car should have

And no, there’s nothing you can do to speed it up or force updates. SC’s may do it if they want to, but ymmv

    Battery scratch? Warranty still on?

What year, model, and trim of Tesla are we talking about here? Is it even still under warranty?

Tesla model Y service taking a long time to get parts!

You’re right - you should escalate this as much as you can. Elon is also on X; you should give that a shot. Keep us informed on how it goes. Good luck!!
