I suspect it comes down to the price of land and grid connections. CA land and grid connections are EXPENSIVE. Quartzsite is inexpensive and it's at the crossroads of East/West and North/South traffic.

They're all working. I charge here twice a week and can only recall 3 times over the past several years that a stall has been down. I was likely on vacation in December 2023, so didn't experience that outage.
