Doesn't change the fact that it shouldn't be turned on automatically. You'd be surprised how many people aren't familiar with how to go in to change the settings appropriately. When you're dealing with motor vehicles, that can kill, it's important that people are familiar with what they expect...

Ooo a fellow Tempest user!

Had to visit the SC for a third time because the hitch receiver was not correctly receiving signals / power. The lead tech took everything apart, reseated connections, and updated the firmware. This fixed the issue and now all works properly.

I went back by the SC and they fixed it in 5 minutes lol. Brought out a laptop and some cord that connected to my car. Few minutes later I had trailer mode available and they apologized for the inconvenience of needing to come back. Quick and easy.

Any chance we see these updated to work with group management or with more than one unit setups? I gave two Wall Connectors in group management mode and eould love for them to do dynamic management AND adhere to max group management amperage simultaneously.

Thanks for this, how did you perform the manual firmware downgrade? Is that an easy process? I'm waiting to see if it happens again now that I have scheduling on the wall connector rather than the Y, as suggested above. But if that fails I'll try what you've done.

Thanks for the swift response. I just changed the schedule from my Y to my wall connectors and will see how it does tonight. Both connectors were already loaded in the app and part of my home setup. On group management, I've not seen anything that states you cannot use scheduling while owning...
