This opened on the 19th. A really good outcome and completes the last link in an alternate route for publicly available DC chargers to get from Sydney/Melbourne to Brisbane other than via the Pacific Highway. Also gives much better EV access to parts of western Qld. Great news!

Looking to drive from Melbourne on a holiday and wondering how easy are these trips in an EV? Melbourne to Adelaide seems well covered by the supercharging network. What about after that? Do you have to individually ring places to charge? How hard is it?

Some days I am totally mentally committed to getting it when the car arrives, others it seems like a big fat waste of money. Have been quoted $6,500 in Brisbane for full and between $1,500 and $3k for partial. What are you guys doing when you get your new Tesla?
