Price drop
$1900 for cyberstreams and $300 for slipstreams. Zero curb rash.
If you want cyberstreams for your legacy X, these are ready to mount. No need to visit a tire shop.
How much?
I have read that time degrades the batteries as much as anything, but I’m not an expert so do your own research.
I own a P90D and love it. Probably wouldn’t purchase one without a warranty though. I have an Xcare warranty for battery and drivetrain. 2016s no longer qualify for any...
2021 long rang plus has the most range of any x. 371 miles range, still has stalks and vertical screen if you care about that. Order from Tesla and get an extra year warranty.
Cheapest option (with a warranty) would be to purchase a 2017 and an Xcare warranty. Lots of reasons not to do this...
2024 Model X Cyberstream wheels with 433MHz TPMS and almost new Pirelli tires. Wheels came off a 2024 Plaid.
Zero curb rash, just swapped TPMS, mounted tires, and balanced last week at a cost of over $400 at Butler Tire. All tires have 8-9mm tread left, so almost new.
433 MHz TPMS plug and...

Tesla definitely lost a MX sale for my wife and a M3 sale for my teenage daughter due to no stalks. Daughter will get a used M3. I doubt Tesla cares and I don’t really either now that MB has supercharger access. Now just need MB to license Tesla’s autopilot tech.
My wife also won’t drive a new X without stalks. I tried to get her to upgrade this month as we could stack transferring FSD, FUSC, and $1k CT incentive. She test drove one and said no way.
So unfortunately this will be her last X unless Tesla makes changes. I suspect they will stop production...
Investing in Tesla is not the same thing as what Musk did with Tesla.
Like or hate him, it would be a tough argument to suggest someone else could have filled his shoes and produced a similar outcome.
I have the same issue. Tried for years to get Tesla to fix it but they always refused.
There allegedly used to be a corrosion warranty but Tesla told me a panel had to be rusted all the way through for it to qualify. I’ve never seen the warranty, or don’t remember seeing it.
Anyway, the...
Are there any EVs out there that have as good of autopilot as Tesla? That's my main concern in switching. I use AP every day and FSDb on road trips, although it is painful sometimes. Still better than driving manually.
How can MobileEye AP1 still be better than every other EV manufacturer 10...
Sample of one. If you are right then others will come out saying the same things. People should never make judgements using just one review be it good or bad.
A clicker huh? Or a subscription. Or I can just wait. Awesome choices.
No parking sensors, no stalks, no homelink.
And unfortunately no real competition.
So I’ll just complain about things as I continue to buy their products.
An advisor just told me that I can transfer FUSC from one vehicle, FSD from another vehicle, and also get the cybertruck $1k. Seems like a really good deal.
Never had an issue with my retractable spoiler. At one point Tesla claimed it increased efficiency at highway speeds by something like 3 or 6%. I don’t remember exactly.
Yes that is one way of interpreting it, although not my interpretation. I suspect $1700/mo is after you take the $14K into account. Otherwise this deal falls into the too good to be true category. I am interested in hearing from the OP.
My 2016 with 84k miles gets roughly 2 miles per battery percentage at 75 mph on relatively flat interstate. I can consistently get 200 miles on a single charge between my house and a supercharger that is exactly 200 miles away.
Using estimated range is not a great way of comparing anything...
Not all headlights function the same. Some have side lights that light up when the wheel is turned at low speeds. Some don't. Be sure to get the one that matches your other side. I think the early performance models had the side lights and the regular ones did not. I'm pretty sure they all have...
I was also wondering why the renters were not being charged for the repairs.
Early on, Hertz was talking about how much they were saving due to low maintenance costs. Now they've done a 180.
I have a hard time taking this at face value. Having been around similar situations, sometimes its...
I only rent Teslas when I have to rent a vehicle. I usually use Uber but sometimes that isn't practical. Hertz has been great.
Selling EVs to buy gas cars doesn't seem like a good long-term strategy. I suspect there is more here than meets the eye.
Never heard of an MX without working fog lights.
I know there were two different headlights on the early versions. The Ps had headlights that would light up the side of the road if the wheel was turned at a low speed. The early regular Xs didn't have these headlights. I think they all have them...
There is something special about the Tesla MobilEye implementation. None of the other manufacturers that have implemented MobilEye have delivered as good (in terms of lane centering, accelerating and braking, and using it on almost all roads) of a system as what Tesla AP1 vehicles offer. So it's...
If Tesla is reading this, put Amanda in charge of North America service center customer experience ASAP. Unfortunately my SC experiences have not been anywhere near this customer centric, but it gives me hope that there are people within Tesla who want to make it better.
This is exactly my experience with FSDb. I am amazed when I hear people claim they made zero intervention drives. Maybe they don't mind pissing off everyone driving around them.
I think they just don’t like Model X owners in general and definitely don’t like dealing with Model X’s.
These vehicles require the most SC visits of all models and the owners often come from other high end vehicles like MB, Audi, BMW, where excellent service is a differentiator.
The...
I’m not an expert regarding extended warranty business models. Does the high likelihood of an expensive payout coupled with a relatively low cost warranty eventually result in insolvency?
I understand the bumper to bumper model somewhat better, but only covering battery and drive units that are...
