tesla has removed the diy homelink option again. who knows if it will come back. I don't use auto close either. I don't trust it 100%. I do use auto open but my opener will only open if the door is closed. it isn't a toggle like most remotes.

Drive a y. I was shocked at how bad rear visibility is in the y. the 3 is much better in that regard. I would like a hatch on the m3 though. there are some things I can't put in the m3 without one that requires me to use one of our other vehicles.

if it is truly cosmetic, any decent body shop will be able to repair the bumper cover with a plastic welder and respray. It doesn't need to be a tesla certified shop. I had this done on my last m3 and the bumper ended up looking better than new. edit: I forgot to mention cost was about $1k.

Marsh, In your case I'd be tempted to try the klima stuff. It would also be a good test to see if your drain isn't clogged. The klima needs to drain out.

2 years seems like a really long time. All my other vehicles specify a 1 year service interval. I'd be happy to get 1 year out of my m3 filters. Usually they start to stink around 6 months.

You can't go back, so you would have to wait for it to catch up. That's what I've read anyway.

Based on my observations from this rollout, it appears fsd is always behind the latest release. Therefore if my car is always updating as soon as a new release is available, will I never get the fsd trial? I'm wondering if pausing updates for a while would be a safe tactic.

It won't change directions if you are traveling above 5 mph or so. It pops up a warning and chimes and says it was ignored.

If you are going to install an outlet, run the 6/3. Make sure you spend at least $60 on a hubbell or bryant outlet. No $10 lowes special. You only need the conduit when the wire runs along the wall. in the ceiling or walls don't need conduit.

I didn't notice any difference. Road noise was still too high imo.

That stinks. I'd be worried about them breaking the heating elements on the rear glass. In the past, those have been known to easily break when tint is removed. I guess it is possible tesla has fixed that, but I kind of doubt it...

Mine intermittently activates and deactivates when I pull into the garage. It seems to trigger when there is something 5' or so in front of the car.

Well then, I've got nuthin. I will check it tonight when I get home. A button or command would be nice, though.

I'll have to check again, but I believe mine turns on before I enter the garage. It is possible the auto homelink triggers it, though.

I don't know if it is the best, but I used wear for Tesla. Iirc, it was about $10. It worked but was kinda slow, but could have been my watch. Back then it was the most suggested app. That was a few years ago so things my have changed or improved.

Shut off auto payment after your last payment before you turn in the car. Tesla has a history of auto charging for damages and people have had to fight to get the money back. Search on this forum for examples of this happening.

It depends on whether or not it came with one.

The intake is clear. Also the my has the hepa filters which prevent that issue.

They quoted me $85 per wheel for rash. If it is less than 3" ( I think) they won't charge you. They initially charged me $85 but later refunded it to me. Maybe because it wasn't the bad (it was minor). I was happily surprised.

The problem I have with the stalkless wheel isn't about me. I'm sure I'd get used to it after a short while. The problem I have are the other people that drive the car on an infrequent basis. I'll be hearing complaints every time they drive it.
