They have track for putting in Alpitronic HYC’s and then ripping them out before energisation. Looks like this is what they’ll do there too, as these puppies in the photo definitely are *not* SuC posts… https://www.plugshare.com/location/577394

Re Bournemouth. My “source” from the updates I made on the Tesla V4 thread at SpeakEV came from right here! 😂😂 post above from @jordan2907 Clearly” 8-10 weeks” was either wishful thinking or pure baloney. 🤣. I’ll shove em both on the back burner at SpeakEV.

There’s four other EV Point sites variously in build with Tesla hardware / white labelling via the Tesla back end servers.

Tesla sales continue downwards trend in Europe

Agreed I think this whole buying it the Tesla way is superior and the only hassle free way, is frankly a bit overcooked.

I wonder how many V3 post stock Tesla have - are they still manufacturing them? [presumably they still employ factory staff in Buffalo and Shanghai and they haven't recently been sacked 😂]

    Fisker ocean - UK forum

They really only have IP. The current stock of cars represent a liability. Of course no factory or tooling etc. that can be flogged. Lease agreements on offices etc represent more liability. Asset lite = Asset zero

The folks at Magna Steyr would want up front full pre-payment if production was ever to restart. Quite simply unless a miracle happens Fisker are in absolutely no position to provide that. They have broken their banking covenants and are in dire financial straights now. It cannot be very long...

This was the state of play on April 23.... https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/8216300/ About 10 days ago it disappeared from the Tesla app, and I gather it's no no longer visible on Tesla nav either. Was thinking this was perhaps because they were reconfiguring matters and about to open...

You had very little risk in Tesla *product* at that point in time. S and X had been about for 5+ years in the case of S and were well shaken down. The real risk at the time was that Tesla could survive the cashflow crisis.

It probably made sense to keep it a closed shop in 2014. In 2024. Nah. It's like having garages that only dispense petrol to VW cars or Stellantis or whatever. It's a bit ridiculous when you think about it in those terms.

    Wheel alignment cost at SC

An electronic alignment on a Hunter HawkEye jig should cost no more than £120. Any more than that and you're having your leg, rather than car lifted.

The last brand new site was indeed Larkhall. There’s around 6 sites I think with V4s awaiting energisation… Incidentally Thetford/Elveden has now completely disappeared from the app. So that could be taken a positive sign it’s about to reopen in its newborn v4 form 😂

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

No. Hasn’t been open to non-Tesla’s since 2022. The only sites opened in 2022 were the original batch of 15 sites in May and then Newport in December that year.
