Look into a Litium battery. They hold the charge longer. This is if you have an older model, before they started installing them in all the cars

No, I looked into it, you have to shut off the screen, unplug the HV cable, pull the NEG cable then check voltage. Otherwise you could damage systems. And yes, it’s a big pain! Might as well just change the battery! It’s been almost 2 yrs…

There’s a procedure where you kill the power to the car by disconnecting the plug under the back seat. This isolates the 12v battery and you can check it directly.

I just now had this issue. Closed the app, turned off wifi/Bluetooth, nothing. Reset the computer and seems to work now. Odd..

I totally agree! I made a rant on my local fb page and was laughed at. But it’s ridiculous. Just leave things as they are. The media channels at the bottom of the map was just fine. Now they’re on 1/4 on the screen. It’s stupid. Just leave well enough alone. It was fine.

I’m hearing after installing update, when driving and putting car into autopilot mode, as soon as you take your hands off the steering wheel, the display shows a countdown before turning off Autopilot. I mean, as soon as your hand leaves the wheel.

What’s sad is certain Tesla owners in close Proximity to the plant get to go. I live across the river from the plant and have not gotten an invite. And only a few in my neighborhood have gotten invites. Pretty cheap on Musks part.

Okay, you're right. Camera has to be in the trunk lid. The fix should do the trick. But had I known of these issues I would of bought a Model S.

Why couldn’t they of just rerouted the coax cable in the body and forget the trunk? That’s a much better fix. Get rid of that wire harness all together since it’s such a horrible design

Stop running 48 amps. Drop to 30-35. Do you really Need 48 amps?? Just because it’s rated, do you need to max it out??? Lower it to 30 amps and you’ll be fine.

I've been hand washing my cars for the last several years. I use a Spot Free rinse system - we have Very hard well water here, and seems to work pretty well. But I dry it off in the garage right away.

Yes that’s correct. Electrician came out and found the wire splice was burnt out. And the install was done less than a year ago. It was fixed and everything is fine now, mailed off the old charger. It was getting hot when charging above 38amps. There was a firmware update, that helped some, but even though I lowered the charge amps to 35, it was still getting pretty warm to the touch, almost hot. They sent a replacement, this one, and everything was fine until a month ago when it just...

I'd stay away from the Tesla chargers. Maybe i've been unlucky, but they are shipping my second replacement. I wish now I'd of gotten a 220V outlet installed in my garage and spent $50 on an adapter. Hopefully this third one will be the charm.
