Have you driven a Y with 19" winter tires? Have you fitted a Y Performance with 17" wheels/tires? I believe there are very limited options in 18" wheel that will fit a Y Performance and nothing in a 17" wheel that will clear the brakes.

Check out S3XY buttons. A button configured to "start autopilot" attached behind the steering wheel at 9 o'clock is perfect for resuming autopilot.

Yes. The Brake calipers on the MYP do not prevent most 20" or 19" wheels from being mounted on them. The stock 20" inductions, 19" Gemini, and lots of options from TSportline, Martian, etc. will fit.

You have done your research. I think you are spot on with the tradeoffs and advantages to each setup. 255/45R19 is the OEM 19" tire size for the Model Y. That's a 255mm wide tire (about 10" wide). The stock 19" Gemini wheels are 9.5" wide. A 19 x 8.5 wheel will work fine with a 255mm/10"...

That size is 1.1% smaller than stock, so the speedometer will be negligibly off. The issue is that the Gemini wheels are 9.5" wide and 245mm is about 9.6" wide. The 255 tires are pretty stretched on the 9.5" wheel. Some installers might not install a 245 tire on anything wider than a 9" wheel.

Depending on where you are and various supply chain issues, the answer might be “the ones that are in stock”.
