I agree with your point. The only reason in my case is that I have to also replace the roof tiles at the same time. The cost is alot more. It will be great if there is more incentive for solar + roof replacement.

How about lining the outside of frunk box with the same bubble wrap? Of course, one needs to take the frunk box out first to do so. But it will look much more neat and clean.

Definitely you have the skill. But I have to say also, it is not for every body. But in my case, I couldnt find better place to make use of my patience, spare time and enthusiasm for Tesla while waiting for the EDD for 5 months… ^^

Not a bad idea at all. I found applying oil in Tesla more cumbersome than doing the same in my ICE car, that doesn’t have any cover in the engine room.

I ordered the adapter pretty much the same way you did via friend & relatives help. No tracking info is provided from Tesla Korea. But my adapter found it’s way and got delivered safely in less than a week.

Could you test if you can put the adapter in the glove box?

Has anyone thought about a case for this adapter? I am worried about the long protruding stick being damaged by accident. Hard shell EVA case might be great for its protection.
