As most have said, no it doesn't change range and hardly adds weight since it replaces factory bumper hardware at the same time. I don't recall exactly but it's like a 5 or 10lb difference net. The cover, with the right tools and knowing where the snaps are, it comes on and off pretty easily...

You can't stop them regardless of PPF or whatever but you can clean them off fast. I keep a bottle of spray detailler right next to the front with some polish cloths and hit it at the first sign when i get home. Takes about 10 seconds.

The panels are all mostly on during the paints stages. You'd have be able to open up the whole car to spray the insides and leave it all open till it cures. No one (really) would or could do that assembly line style.

There are pedal coversions for handicap drivers. They will not void any warranty on the rest of the car and do not change the function of the stock pedal.

Bottom line is owning a Tesla is a very polarizing prospect. I had no idea how strongly people felt about Tesla and EVs before owning one. Political, environmental, social... it will bring out guns blazing both sides of all those topics and more. It is something to consider.

If there's no police report it's not likely to show up on carfax. They generally don't intend to track cosmetic damage as it has no real effect on the vehicles Integrity or value.

Interesting. I valet 3 to 4 times a month, never once has anyone one ever confused the card or asked how to use it.

Not sure how practical driving around trying to use a stylus would be in a car, but I do keep a little microfiber Square in the console for a 2 second wipe whenever it gets too smudged. Seems like a little faster and easier.

BS story. There was an accident on i75, guy hit a tree and the car went up in flames. Tragic. But they seemed to take that an run in thier own direction to bash the car and EV transition. Typical. The pictured car never caught on fire that I ever saw.

The wiper system sucks, yep. I don't remotely have any issues with any of the other stuff that's been posted. But how those things are interfaced doesn't change anything. Everything in the car is software based regardless.
