Just had someone put a deposit down, if it falls through for whatever reason I will definitely reach out to you.
Funny, I sold a Golf R right before I bought the 3 also.
That is going to take someone with some serious PDR talent. Since you are in the UK I couldn't say, stateside that is a few hundred + do to the location and degree of difficulty.
Excellent condition inside and out, we are the second owners. Car lives inside the garage full time, we work from home and have multiple other vehicles.
VIN: 5YJ3E1EC3LF746889
- just over 21k miles, clean and clear title in hand. Carfax is spotless, no accidents.
- tires have 80% tread left...
Completely depends on what kind of car buyer you are, your financial situation, and economic factors.
There are some instances where it is financially beneficial to lease, and there are certain ones where buying is the only option.
It's a good A-B/ occasional car, I wouldn't want to daily drive it or it to be my only means of transportation.
I don't keep cars very long anyway, but I really got bored of this thing way faster than I should have.
Yeah but I am starting to miss the sound and driving characteristics of actual sports cars. Won't be much longer with the M3P and I've only had it a few months.
Canada has some major differences based on province compared to what most states do here in the US, especially regarding diminished value claims which is what we were speaking to specifically.
Someone created a report, they don't happen magically. Body shops do not have access to create accident reports, only law enforcement agencies do that. It's easy to find out who did it, and make them update it accordingly also.
Without a police report, it is unlikely a minor accident shows up on a Carfax. Someone somewhere made a report. (The body shop could have posted that they performed work, but they don't add accidents to Carfax reports)
Reason for this is simple: say your taillight housing was foggy and you just...
Diminished value is definitely a thing in Canada, I've seen several posts about people getting it. (Depends on specifically which part you live in: https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/vehicles-insurance-accidents-diminished-value-1.4675414 also: Diminished Value of Canada - and yes you may need...
Ah Canada, the land where insurance makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. (I never looked at your profile, just assumed USA)
Forget everything I said, file the claim, and tell them you want diminished value. It is protected under law and I imagine you will have a hell of a fight on your hands...
I would absolutely not file a report for something this small unless I absolutely needed to. The damage is cosmetic (and small), and your concern of lowering the vehicles value is correct if this hits it's Carfax.
If she is willing to work with her insurance to settle this nicely, that's what...
Who said touch up? Again, any legit shop will have no problem matching the paint. You asked about mismatched color being a concern, it isn't.
The reason I asked about this is simple, without a police report and accident status, this could just as easily be left off of the vehicles Carfax if...
They are claiming they have never heard of diminished value claims? Sounds like a reputable company.
Did you file a police report? Is it definitely being fixed through insurance?
Any legit shop will have no problem matching paint, that is not a concern.
If you don't deal in rebuilt/salvage vehicles for a living, one of these vehicles with a bad title is not for you. Period.
If you know what you are doing, are mechanically savvy, and buy and sell frequently, you can make a buck or two on vehicles like this from time to time. It is a hassle...
RS Audi vehicles have held their value EXTREMELY well even taking out this over inflated market. There is absolutely no statistic pointing to the M3 holding it's value better than the RS3.
Before I even scrolled down, I figured you bought the green one. (I usually go for press release colors also)
Had a 2018 RS3 that I loved, but I agree the 0-60 comparison is further apart than the published times make it seem to be.
Interior quality, track performance and better looks go to...
