    2024 model 3 performance/ludicrous wheel spec?

The existing 18/19s from TSportLine fit. YOU can check out their website for wheel info. I dumped the 21" UTs from our 2022 MYP for some of their 18s and would do it again. It changed the entire character of the car ALL FOR THE BETTER.

    More Price Cut(s)?

I'd be all over a 7-seat X LR if it was available for about $70K. We have owned 2 MYs 5 seaters and have had to rent a BIG SUV when my SIL/Dau and grandkids come and visit, and then when we visit them their only vehicle that carries 6 folks is my SIL F-250 SD long bed. So when we go out we...

Who uses an alternative to Rennstand jack stands for rotating tires and other work on their Tesla?

So glad I have a DT 3 miles from my home, I'm 72 and a disabled vet so my days of rotating my tires and detailing all those hidden areas are over. In the old days, I would spend all weekend messing around with my Corvettes. Now I just drive the dam things.

Getting highland vented/cooled seats for the model Y

Unplugged Performance just got their new M3P(s) and swapped the seats to a Gen 1 M3. Gen 1 is their term, so don't shoot the messenger.

New Model Y roof, new wind noise

I had wind noise on our 2020 and now 2022 Y from the passenger side above the windshield area. In both instances, I was able to eliminate most of it with one of those rubber wind noise reduction kits...

My garage door closed while I was was backing out of my garage and damaged tesla

After a similar incident on my 2020 Y, when we got our 2022 I dug out my old "clickers" and saved $350. Too many variables are involved for the safe "automatic" operation of a garage door and moving vehicle. Sorry, this happened to you.

I just learned that the Parts and Service Dept at our Chesterfield Mo store was shut down. Local chatter claims the second store in St Charles Mo will remain open. No word on status of employees.

Falling out of love with my Model Y AWD - Sell or Keep

Maybe I missed it in your long post, but is our Y paid for? Given the current state of our economy and lord knows what the future holds, having a paid-for automobile still under warranty that still safely and economically runs, if it were me I'd keep it. By the way, how many long road trips do...

Would you Purchase a model Y Again?

REPEATEDLY, no, but two of my friends own S's and I have driven them often (one is a PLAID with a YOKE). So I appreciate what you are asking. Yes the Y is EASIER but the extra 120+ miles of range, suspension, ventilated seats, etc make road-tripping so much nicer. But between now and decision...

Would you Purchase a model Y Again?

We are on our SECOND Model Y. Bought a 2020 LR DM on July 25th, 2020, and traded in on a 2022 MYP on Aug 25th, 2022. But we are now thinking of moving on. We are 72 and looking to splurge since we have opted to stay close to home and our grandkids, so we are looking at trading UP to a Model...

End of Q2 Model S Deals?

Given the S/X position in Tesla’s line up I wouldn’t count on anything earth moving. I’m prepared to pay current prices but hope springs eternal for some small UPDATES and or new colors.

Range reduced dramatically in heavy rain

HELL YESSSSS. We take 3 or 4 long road trips from southern IL to southern MD yearly via I-64 and have encountered HEAVY RAIN transversing the Appalachian Mountains two of those trips occur between Nov and Feb so temps are COLD as well (any forecasted snow we stay home). So we get the DAILY...

Just tried to order Tesla Solar and it’s not “available” in my area. Now what?

No, I got the full ITC and $11,700 from the IL Shines SREC. My total credits came to about $28K. We needed to start taking our RMD's so I just paid off the loans so my system is OURS. Yea

Just tried to order Tesla Solar and it’s not “available” in my area. Now what?

It’s not a secret, my installed PV only system which consisted of 31 QCell 405 watt panels (12.5 kWh) with Enphase IQ8A Inverters and associated Enphase hardware cost me just at $52K. It was commissioned on Sept 20th 2023 and I received my PTO from AMEREN IP the next day on Sept 21st 2023. So...

Daily Driver - Model 3 LR vs P?

Will the existing 18” wheels from various vendors fit the new M3P? I don’t see any mention of the new “Highland” mentioned on any of their web sites, just that they will fit a “performance model 3”. That would be the best of all options for a DD.

Trust and count on the accuracy of that page at your own risk. But seeking to get Tesla to UPDATE that data is noble. Good luck.

Tesla does not own or control Destination Chargers. Report any issues to the host property owner and as WWS suggested UPDATE PLUGSHARE to alert future users.

Will 0.99% come to Model S?

The S/X are like Corvette's to Chevy, a HALO vehicle with a limited number built each year. So my guess is the best we can hope for might be a free bone like FREE paint every once in a while. They sell everyone they make as it is. We are considering trading UP to an LR S sometime in the next...
